Where Is The Cast Of ‘You’ Now?

Season 4: Part 1 of You gave us a brand new cast and that got us thinking about everyone we’ve seen over the past seasons. Let’s take a look at where the You stars are today!

You Season 4: Part 1 is here and Part 2 coming out on March 9th, 2023! We have been introduced to some iconic actors and actresses, and even though they may no longer be on the show they still have a ton going on!

Season 1

Season 1 originally premiered on Lifetime and was eventually bought by Netflix, who then streamed it on December 26th, 2018 making it one of the most-watched Netflix shows at the time.

Elizabeth Lail

Elizabeth Lail starred as Guinevere Beck, Joe’s first leading lady who stole our hearts. However, she was not destined to return for a second season.

Since her season concluded, Elizabeth starred in Countdown, which premiered on October 25th, 2019. The movie is about a young nurse, played by Lail, who downloads an app that says she has 3 days to live. She must figure out a way to save herself all while a mysterious figure haunts her.

In 2020, she starred in the Gossip Girl reboot as Lola Morgan. It was a full circle moment, as her co-star Penn Badgley starred in the original version of the show.

In 2021, she starred in the NBC TV show Ordinary Joe as Jenny Banks. The show follows the main character, Joe, who navigates through his life changing-decisions after he graduates from Syracuse University.

Most recently in 2022, she starred in the comedy film Mack and Rita alongside Diane Keaton. The movie is about a 30-year-old named Mack who spends a weekend in Palm Springs and magically wakes up in the body of her 70-year-old self.

Shay Mithcell

Shay Mitchell was Beck’s best friend who we couldn’t decide if we loved or hated. Her recurring role was also over when the season ended.

She has been pretty busy since then as she has become a mother to two beautiful children. In October 2019, she welcomed her first child, Atlas, and on June 4th, 2022, she announced to E! News that she had welcomed her second child.

On top of becoming a mother, she also became an amazing businesswoman with her company Béis. Although the brand launched in 2018, Mitchell says TikTok helped her grow the luggage brand. Mitchell has also launched a Pop-up shop at The Grove in L.A., which was open from May 25th to June 19th of 2022.

She starred in the comedy series, Dollface as Stella Cole, the best friend who re-enters Jules’s life after she is dumped by her boyfriend.

John Stamos

John Stamos played Dr. Nicky, Beck’s therapist, and became Joe’s next target when he figured out about their secret relationship.

Most recently, Stamos landed a role on the Disney+ series Big Shot. In the series, he plays Marvyn, a basketball coach who is kicked out of the NCAA after an extreme meltdown and is then left to coach an elite all-girls high school team. The series premiered in April 2021 and currently has two seasons, with the third season set to premiere around November 2023 or January 2024.

Since then, Fuller House, the continuation of Stamos’ hit show Full House, premiered its final episode on June 2nd, 2020.

Stamos also made a guest appearance in Season 2 of You as Dr. Nicky but did not return in Season 3.

Season 2

You Season 2 premiered about a year after Season 1 on January 26th, 2019. This time, however, Joe goes by the name of Will and has moved from New York to sunny LA. This season brings new characters who have stayed busy since their time on the show came to an end.

Jenna Ortega

Jenna Ortega has become a household name being in everything from the Scream franchise, to the hit horror film X, to portraying Wednesday Addams in the new Netflix series, Wednesday. However, before becoming the new it-girl, she was Ellie in You.

Wednesday premiered on Netlifx on November 23rd, 2022, and broke records. In its first five days, it was viewed for almost 6 billion minutes, falling second to Stranger Things season 4. The series follows Wednesday as she navigates her life and newfound relationships at Nevermore Academy. This all happens while she attempts to solve a mystery that her parents were involved in 25 years previously.

Ortega joined the Scream franchise as Tara Carpenter. She starred in the 2022 fifth installment of the Scream movies and lived to see the day continuing her role in Scream 6, which is set to premiere on March 10, 2023. Ortega has hinted at more of a development in her character with more interactions between her cast members and the intensity of filming during this movie than in the fifth film.

Ortega has starred in multiple films, such as The Babysitter: Killer Queen in 2020 as Phoebe. Keeping with the horror genre, Ortega also appeared in X, the first installment of the soon to be Pearl trilogy. The film follows a group that set out to make an adult film. She plays Lorraine, the girlfriend of the film’s director. She also starred in the 2021 film, Yes Day, where her character’s parents say yes to everything. She starred alongside Maddie Ziegler in The Fallout, where she plays a high schooler trying to navigate the emotional fallout after surviving a school shooting.

Not only has she earned a plethora of film credits, but she also made her executive producing debut with Winter Spring Summer or Fall, as well as her directorial debut with Miller’s Girl. Jenna Ortega remains to have her planner fully booked, and we are so excited for her.

James Scully

James Scully played Forty Quinn, Love’s brother, in the series. He quickly became a fan favorite, and although he makes a guest appearance in Season 3, his time on You remains restricted to Season 2.

Since You, Scully landed a role in Fire Island as Charlie. The film is a queer, comedic take on Pride and Prejudice that is centered around two best friends who are persistent in having a legendary summer adventure with the help of their friends. The film was released via Hulu on June 3rd, 2022.

In 2022, a documentary called Victoria’s Secret: Angels and Demons was released, and Scully played himself being a former casting director for Victoria’s Secret. He is also set to star in an independent feature, Something’s More Than One Thing, with the Russo brothers credited as executive producers.

Ambry Childers

Ambyr Childers plays Joe’s Ex, Candance. She appears originally in Season 1 and makes her mark in Season 2 of the show. She follows Joe to L.A. in hopes of exposing him for who he really is.

Since her time on the show, she has taken a break from pursuing new roles, but you can find her being a great mother to her two daughters, London and Rylee.

Carmela Zumbado

Carmela Zumbado played Ellie’s older sister, Delilah Alves. She plays an investigative reporter who begins to suspect Joe and is bent on learning his dark secrets.

Zumbado plays Gwen, Freddie’s ex-wife, Millicent’s mother, and Carly’s friend in the iCarly reboot on Paramount+. The first three episodes of the show premiered on Paramount+ on June 17th, 2021, and Season 2 premiered on April 8th, 2022. On July 2022, Paramount+ confirmed that the show will be returning for season 3.

In 2020 she also was in the movies Run Sweetheart Run and White Elephant. White Elephant is about eight millennials who get together for their annual gift exchange, but a marriage proposal brings chaos to the game and pushed relationships to the brink.

Season 3

Season 3 of You premiered on October 15th, 2021, and was a “killer” of a season with Joe and Love being married and having a child. There were so many jaw-dropping moments in the season, and we got to discover a season with two killers.

Victoria Pedretti

Victoria Pedretti plays Love Quinn in Seasons 2 and 3. She married Joe at the end of Season 2 and is the mother to Henry, her and Joe’s baby.

Pedretti has just wrapped filming on her next movie Ponyboi in which she co-stars with Dylan O’Brien. While the movie does not yet have a release date, we cannot wait to see Pedretti and O’Brien starring alongside each other.

Pedretti also was set to star in the Hulu drama series Saint X in 2022, but quickly after the announcement in March, it was announced in May 2022 that Pedretti would no longer star in the show and Alycia Debnam-Carey would be stepping in to take the role.

We cannot wait to see where she lands next. Without a doubt one of the best Scream Queens around.

Saffron Burrows

Saffron Burrows plays Dottie Quinn, Love’s mother and the co-owner of Anavrin.

Since her role in You, she has seemingly taken a break from acting. She is an activist on social media and is constantly sharing with her followers how they can help others around the world.

Shalita Grant

Shalita Grant plays Sherry, who is married to Cary and is a famous influencer and pretends to be Love’s friend because she feels threatened.

She has currently taken a break from acting and spends her time with her partner, MMA Champion Jessica Aguilar.

Travis Van Winkle

Travis Van Winkle plays Cary, the wealthy “Master of Self-Optimization” who runs his own supplement company and Sherry’s husband.

In 2021, he starred in ‘Tis The Season to be Merry alongside Rachael Leigh Cook. The Hallmark movie was released on December 19th, 2021.

He is also set to appear in the remake of the 1989 film Roadhouse, which stars Jake Gyllenhaal, and the film is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video with a release date not being announced yet.

Dylan Arnold

Dylan Arnold plays college student Theo Engler, who develops feelings for Love and causes a stir in Love and Joe’s marriage.

Arnold is staying bus. He reprised his role of Cameron Elam in Halloween Kills, which he originated in the 2018 Halloween movie. Halloween Kills premiered and arrived in US theaters on October 15th, 2021.

Arnold is also set to play Frank Oppenheimer in the film Oppenheimer. The film is set to premiere on July 21st, 2023. Arnold joins the star-studded cast, including actors Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, and more.
