What We’re All About | LGBTQ&A with Jeffrey Masters

Welcome to LGBTQ&A! This is a collection of interviews with different members of the LGBTQ community — all races, genders, sexualities, and everyone in between. The show is hosted by Jeffrey Masters.

LGBTQ&A was created to document the stories of the LGBTQ community, while also showcasing its diversity — all races, genders, sexualities, and everyone in between. We’re trying to get beyond the transition or coming out stories, to truly get to know each person, their accomplishments, and how they got to where they are today.

Notable interviews include Asia Kate Dillon (the first and only openly gender non-binary actor on TV), Shane Ortega (the first openly transgender person to serve in the military; they were also influential in getting Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, as well as the ban on transgender people serving repealed), Cleve Jones (LGBTQ Activist mentored by Harvey Milk, created the AIDS Quilt), Peter Paige (Queer As Folk, The Fosters), Trixie Mattel (drag queen), and Jennifer Finney Boylan (author, activist).

Other guests: Ross Mathews, Laura Jane Grace, Buck Angel, Jen Richards, iO Tillett Wright, Angelica Ross, Bamby Salcedo, Perez Hilton, Jacob Tobia, Michelle Tea, Ali Liebegott, Melissa Febos, Ira Madison, Amin El Gamal, Conner Habib, Alexandra Grey, and many others.
