The show follows two old-time high school friends in Miami named Shawna (Aida Osman) and Mia (KaMillion) who reunite and eventually become a rap duo. Something interesting to note is that KaMillion is a rap artist in real life who has been on the show Love & Hip Hop Miami. The series also stars another reality tv personality name Jonica Booth who many may know from her time on Bad Girls Club.

Rap Sh!t will not only be produced by Issa Rae but will also have City Girls Yung Miami and JT as co-executive producers. Many look forward to seeing if the show will closely relate to the female rap duo’s story of coming up in the rap game in Miami, and are happy that Rae is working so closely with the girls on a project like this.

People are looking forward to supporting these black women who are making shows about and for other black women. It’s empowering and beautiful to see be developed. We all are excited to start streaming the episodes and us Insecure fans are ready to laugh again at Rae’s humor we know will be in the series!
