Walmart Won’t Confirm Firing of Employees Accused of Islamophobic Attack on ’90 Day’ Star

We have a shocking update on 90 Day Fiancè: The Other Way star Avery Mills’ claims she was the target of anti-Islamic comments made by employees at an Ohio Walmart store.

Avery insisted in several social media posts that the two employees were fired following the New Year’s Day incident.

At the time, Walmart released this statement to People: ““We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. We take Ms. Mills’ claims seriously and are looking into this.”

But that was a week ago!

AfterBuzz TV reached out to Walmart for an update, and a representative refused to confirm the employees’ termination, saying simply, “We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. We take Ms. Mills’ claims seriously and are continuing to look into this.”

They also avoided answering whether Avery was told the employees would be fired.

So the case is not closed!

The Walmart rep also stayed mum on whether the company, which boasts nearly 5,000 stores nationwide, is doing anything to ensure its shoppers are not discriminated against by employees in the future.

AfterBuzz TV contacted Avery too, inquiring whether she was aware of the ongoing investigation. But we did not receive a response by the time this article was published. We’ll update this if we hear back.
