Ty Doran Reveals If ‘Manifest’ Season 5 Is A Possibility!

Manifest is back! Ty Doran, who plays adult Cal, is talking all about the hit series, including what it was like finding out the show was saved by Netflix, what’s in store for part 2, and if there’s hope for a season 5!

The wait is finally over because the first part of Manifest season 4 is now on Netflix.

Ty Doran. who portrays the adult version of Cal, spoke with Benny Adams on Let’s Binge About It to discuss what it was like finding out that the show was saved for a final season, what to expect for part 2, and if a fifth season could be a possibility.

When news broke out that Manifest would end after season 3, fans were understandably not happy, so they got together and created #SaveManifest, and the rest is history.

“I should have been a lot more upset when it got canceled. If I had known what I was missing on a human level, like getting to meet and become friends and family with all these people, cast, crew, producers, everyone was so sweet. If I had missed that, I would’ve been a different person. I think when it got canceled I wasn’t upset enough.” Explained Doran.

Now that the first part of season 4 has premiered, viewers are wondering how this story will end. Doran explains that many questions will get answered.

“Part 2 is where it really kicks off. I think the great thing about this show is how beautifully it interweaves the human family drama with the big grand mystery of what happened to Flight 828, and that does not go away in part 1, but we are much more concerned about how everyone is reacting to the events of season 3. In part 2, we’re continuing to deal with that, but that is where it kicks off to a whole other level. I can’t wait for people to see part two, it gets pretty crazy, and all the threads start to come together.” Said Doran.

It’s no secret that season 4 will be the last of Manifest. But with the outpour of support from fans to bring the series back for a 4th season, many are wondering if season five is a possibility, to which Doran explains anything is possible.

“Jeff Rake has created such an interesting world that people have latched onto. This season is a final season in a way for sure, and it is the end of a story. I think and hope people will feel satisfied by how it all ends. This world that Jeff created is rife, sort of the Manifest cinematic universe if you will… Rife for all kinds of stories to be told. So who knows? That is over my head and beyond my decision-making power, but we’ll see.” Explained Doran. “I hope at the end of the day, people feel content and know it was worth it, and that after all the fighting, wanting, wishing, and waiting, there is some level of satisfaction and contentment that comes out of that.”

The first half of season 4 of Manifest is now available to stream on Netflix.
