TV Shows To Watch This Week: ‘Below Deck’, ‘The Good Doctor’, ‘Mom’ & More!

Due to the pandemic, our fall television lineup was extremely lighter than usual. However, the productions have been hard at work, and we’re starting to see more and more of our favorite and highly anticipated shows returning. Below are the shows premiering this week!

Monday, November 2nd

Below Deck

The reality show is back for it’s 8th season and is sure to bring the drama! Eddie Lucas, a deckhand from season 1 will be returning. He is now the Bosun under Captain Lee Rosbach. Unfortunately Kate Chastain will not be back as chief stewardess. She announced she was leaving the series back in February. You can catch Below Deck Monday’s and 9pm EST on Bravo.

The Good Doctor

Dr. Shuan Murphy will start operating again in the 4th season of the medical hit. The show will have a special 2 hour premiere with a focus on the coronavirus. We will also get to see Shaun handle his crush Lea this season. While we had to say goodbye to some of our favorites last season it’s been announced that we will get to meet 4 new doctors this season. Even though the show started almost 2 months later than normal, it will take a brief hiatus in December and return in early 2021. You can watch The Good Doctor on Mondays at 10pm EST on ABC.

Holiday Baking Championship

If you need some extra umph to get you in the holiday spirit, Food Network has you covered! Holiday Baking Championship returns for its 7th season. This show is sure to bring anxiety, drama, touching moments, and best of all delicious treats. You can tune in every Monday at 9pm on the Food Network.

Thursday, November 5th

B Positive

This CBS freshman sitcom will most likely be the only new show for the network this fall season. The plot will center around ill, divorced man, who is in desperate need of a kidney. Just as luck will have it he finds one in a woman from his past. The show comes from longtime CBS creator Chuck Lorre, and the cast will include Thomas Middleditch, Annaleigh Ashford, Kether Donohue, Izzy G, and Sara Rue star, while Linda Lavin, Briga Heelan, and Bernie Kopell will have recurring roles. You can catch B Positive Thursdays at 8:30pm EST on CBS.

Braxton Family Values

The Braxtons will be returning to our television screens for their 7th season. The upcoming season will revolve around Trina’s wedding, and all the drama that will be associated with that. It will also tackle Tamars suicide attempt and how her family handled the event. You can watch The Braxton Family Values every Thursday at 9pm EST on WE TV.

Ghost Adventures

Halloween may be over, but you can still celebrate the spooky season with the return of Ghost Adventures. You’ll get to explore new haunts, learn history, and maybe even have to sleep with the lights on for the new season. You can catch this show every Thursday at 9pm EST on the Travel Channel.

Mom

The CBS comedy is back, but sans one lead. Anna Faris previously announced that she wouldn’t be returning for the 8th season, leaving Allison Janey to head the show solo. While the show will definitely feel different without Christy, we’re still excited to watch and see what direction the show takes. You can watch Mom every Thursday at 9pm EST on CBS.

Save Me Too

Save Me Too is the second season of Save Me, a British thriller, which originally aired in the US on Starz. The series follows a father trying to find his daughter who has been abducted and in the process risks his relationships and life. The new season takes place 17 months after the first and is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. The entire six episodes will drop on Peacock on Thursday.

Two Weeks To Live

The British dark comedy stars Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) and Sian Clifford (Fleabag) as a mother and daughter who have been living in the wilderness preparing for the end of the world. That is until Williams leaves to avenge the death of her father, enlisting the help of two guys she meets in a bar. The series is sure to bring big laughs and suspense. You can watch all the episodes of Two Weeks to Live on HBO Max on Thursday.

Young Sheldon

The Big Bang Theory spinoff is returning and we will get to see some big changes happen! The 4th season will see Sheldon graduating high school, this was originally was going to be the finale for season 3 but was pushed due to the pandemic. We will also see him transition into starting college and how he and his family deal with the changes. Young Sheldon will air every Thursday at 8pm EST on CBS.
