TV Shows Premiering The Week Of November 29th, 2020

December is here, and so is a whole new bunch of shows to watch! Read on to find out which shows are premiering this week.

Monday, November 30th

Ridiculousness

Season 19 of the comedy series starts right up as the 18th season ends. There will sure to be plenty of laughs coming our way, though not much is known about the new season. There will be new episodes Monday through Friday airing 11pm ET on MTV, and starting on December 12th, they will be dropping two episodes a night.

Wednesday, December 2nd

Alien Worlds

A new documentary from Netflix, Alien Worlds, applies the laws of life on Earth to the rest of the galaxy, blending science fact and fiction to imagine alien life on other planets. The entire season will be available on Netflix on December 2nd.

Court Cam

The third season of the court drama show premieres. This season will chronicle some of the most stunning and emotional courtroom moments caught on camera. With frightening outbursts, crazed defendants, amazing acts of service or furious judges, the series gives viewers a comprehensive look at how all of the action unfolds. The series will air 2 episodes a night on Wednesdays at 9 pm & 9:30 pm ET on A&E.

Rescue Cam

Hosted by American Ninja Warriors Matt Iseman, “Rescue Cam” is a no holds barred look at some of the most shocking and intense life or death rescues, standoffs, animal saves, and close calls from across the country and beyond. The series highlights human, and animal rescues carried out by both professional and citizen heroes, with stories told through footage captured on cell phones, bodycams, dashcams, and security cameras that showcase the outrageous, at times comical, and often unimaginable rescues happening every day. Two episodes will air every Wednesday at 10 pm & 10:30 pm ET on A&E.

SEAL Team

Season 4 of the CBS drama will see many of the cast at a crossroads. Some will make big decisions for themselves and some will have decisions made for them. It will be a 2 episodes premiere that will see Jason and Cerberus stranded from much of the team, and will focus in part on the Team dog’s own future. New episodes will air every Wednesday at 9 pm ET on CBS.

Trafficked with Mariana van Zeller

The documentary series takes viewers on a journey inside the most dangerous black markets on the planet. The series will be eight episodes hosted by Peabody and DuPont Award-winning journalist Mariana van Zeller. She will explore the complex and often violent inner workings of a smuggling network. While she dives deeper and deeper into these underworlds, Mariana reveals – with characteristic boldness and empathy – that the people operating these trafficking rings are often a lot more like us than we realize. The series will start with a 2 episode premiere, with new episodes dropping every Wednesday at 9 pm on National Geographic.

Thursday, December 3rd

Flipping Across America

The reality series, whose first season premiered in July of this year, starts off its second season. The series follows two sets of well-known stars and flipping masters with similar house purchase prices and reno budgets. Throughout the season, designer and real estate developer Alison Victoria guides viewers across the country to find out which of these fan-favorite home reno experts best economize their flips and make the most out of their budgets, revealing where buyers really do get the biggest bang for their buck in the flipping business. New episodes will be available every Thursday at 8 pm ET on HGTV.

Heaven’s Gate: The Cult of Cults

The docuseries is a thorough examination of the infamous UFO cult through the eyes of its former members and loved ones. What started in 1975 with the disappearance of 20 people from a small town in Oregon ended in 1997 with the largest suicide on US soil and changed the face of modern New Age religion forever. This four-part docuseries uses never-before-seen footage and first-person accounts to explore the infamous UFO cult that shocked the nation with its out-of-this-world beliefs. All 4 episodes will be available on December 3rd on HBO Max.

Stylish With Jenna Lyons

Stylish with Jenna Lyons follows Jenna, president of J.Crew, as she tackles design projects that will help define her future business. These include renovating her friend’s Brooklyn townhouse, hosting mobile fashion makeovers, designing her new office, and launching LoveSeen – her fresh take on false lashes. Along the way, she’ll test a diverse group of creative associates, all vying for a life-changing spot in Jenna’s growing team. Jenna’s staff, including her Chief-of-Staff, Kyle DeFord, and Stylist, Sarah Clary, join her in this ambitious new venture, delivering a masterclass in taste, design, and fashion with every episode. The entire 8 episodes will be available on December 3rd on HBO Max.

Friday, December 4th

Big Mouth

Season 4 of the popular adult animated comedy premieres. Joining the cast this season is Maria Bamford, who voices a new hormone monster, Tito the Anxiety Mosquito, as well as Seth Rogan, Zach Galifianakis, Paul Giamatti, Sterling K. Brown, John Oliver, Lena Waithe, and Maya Erskine. The only cast member not returning this season will be Jenny Slate, who plays Missy. The actress made the decision to leave the show during the BLM movement stating that only Black actresses should play Black characters. The new actress taking the helm is Ayo Edebiri. This season we will see the puberty-stricken tweens enter eighth grade with their friends tackling summer camp torments, shady alter egos, new make-out frontiers, and Tito the Anxiety Mosquito. The entire season will be available on December 4th on Netflix.

Blue Bloods

Season 11 of the cop drama premieres, and after the way season 10 ended, fans have been eagerly awaiting it. In this season, Frank will reportedly go head-to-head with City Council Speaker Regina Thomas over protests against police brutality. At the same time, Jamie and his newish-found nephew, Joe Hill, work together to locate Danny and Baez when they go missing while searching for a killer, while Eddie steps up to help an abrasive woman find her father’s body after it was misplaced during the outset of the pandemic. New episodes will air every Friday at 10 pm ET on CBS.

Earth at Night in Color

The new docuseries will explore animals in their natural habitat during the night. Each episode of the 6 episode season will feature beautiful shots, with each episode focusing on a different continent. The series will be narrated by Tom Hiddleston, and the entire season will be available on December 4th on Apple TV+.

The Great British Baking Show: Holidays

The 3rd season of everyone’s favorite baking show spinoff returns. This season eight returning bakers compete against each other to make the best winter goodies. The entire season will be available on December 4th on Netflix.

The Hardy Boys

In the new series from Hulu, Frank Hardy, 16, and his brother Joe, 12, are forced to move from the big city to their parent’s hometown of Bridgeport for the summer after a family tragedy strikes. Staying with their Aunt Trudy, their quiet summer quickly comes to a halt when they discover their dad, detective Fenton Hardy has taken on a secret investigation. Realizing that their Dad may be onto something, the boys take it upon themselves to start an investigation of their own, and suddenly everyone in town is a suspect. The series will be 13 episodes, and the entire season will be available on December 4th.

Macgyver

Macgyver is back for season 5. Because Season 4 of MacGyver ended early, the entire story with Codex’s threat will play on. Other than that, not much is known about the new season. New episodes will air every Friday at 8 pm on CBS.

Magnum P.I.

Season 3 of the tropical crime drama premieres. In the new season, Jay Ali will return as a love interest for Higgens. It will also deal with the awkward situation and the fallout from the marriage between Higgins and T.C., which should complicate her partnership with Magnum in the PI agency. New episodes will air every Friday at 9 pm ET on CBS.

Pokemon Journeys: The Series

Season 3 of everyone’s favorite Pokemon hunter is back. The 3rd season will see Satoshi come face to face with an old opponent and friend: Gym Leader Corni and her Lucario. Satoshi and his new team of Pokémon must find a way to battle through and emerge victorious, while Go sees Mega-Evolution for the first time. The entire season will be available on Netflix on December 4th.

Selena: The Series

The new series chronicling the life of one of the most tragic music stars premieres. The series will follow singer Selena as she comes of age and realizes her dreams; she and her family make tough choices to hold on to love and music. The entire season will be available on Netflix on December 4th.

Stillwater

Based on the Scholastic book series “Zen Shorts” by Jon J Muth, Stillwater centers on siblings Karl, Addy, and Michael, who are typical kids with typical kid challenges – meaning that sometimes even the smallest things can feel insurmountable. Fortunately for these three, they have Stillwater, a wise panda, as their next-door neighbor. Through his example, stories, and gentle humor, Stillwater gives the children a deeper understanding of their feelings as well as tools that help them face their own day-to-day challenges. Stillwater also brings newfound fun and adventure for the three, opening their eyes to the quiet wonders of the world around them and guiding them to their place within it. The entire season will be available on December 4th on Apple TV+.
