Season 2 of The Hunting Wives is expanding its twisted world. Today, Netflix, Lionsgate, and 3Arts Entertainment announced that Kim Matula and Alex FitzAlan have joined the upcoming season of the hit series as recurring guest stars.

Matula, known for roles in Saturday Night and LA to Vegas, will step into the part of Nadia Kelly, while FitzAlan — seen in The Wilds and Chevalier — will portray Lincoln Trout. Both roles are set to shake up the already combustible social circle that captivated audiences in season one.

Returning Cast And A Global Release

The new additions join a returning lineup that includes Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman, Jaime Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Karen Rodriguez, Hunter Emery, and Branton Box.

Additional cast will be revealed at a later date.

Season 2 is currently in production in the US and will be released exclusively as a Netflix-branded series in nearly all countries where the streamer is available.

A Hit From The Start

Created by Rebecca Cutter and based on the bestselling novel by May Cobb, The Hunting Wives became an instant sensation when it premiered. Season one debuted on Netflix in the US on July 21, spending five weeks in the global English Top 10 TV list and amassing more than 20 million views, despite only being available domestically.

Cutter returns as creator, showrunner, writer, and executive producer, alongside executive producers Erwin Stoff for 3 Arts Entertainment and Cobb.

What To Expect In Season 2

Season two wastes no time stirring trouble. According to the official logline, the story begins with Sophie and Margo on the outs — but old secrets and new enemies pull them back together. As their dangerous games escalate, one question becomes impossible to ignore:

Are they the hunters… or the hunted?

The season will feature eight episodes, with production handled by Lionsgate.
