The crew discovers that Josh’s body has disappeared. He has escaped, but was it supernatural or was he assisted by his mom or Karen? Nancy is accompanied by Owen as she investigates Lucy’s relationship with Ryan. Eventually this leads to a romantic encounter with the two of them. And in a surprise twist we find out that Karen supplied Josh with the poison.

Much to Nancy’s dismay Owen is really dead. Even more disturbing is they find out that he didn’t die as a result of being The Blood Sacrifice for The Algaeca. Owen was murdered by a human, Nancy finds out through her connection with detective Lisbeth. Nancy investigates on her own and has a showdown with Lucy’s brother Josh! Who is also her Uncle. She has to break the news to him of her moms secret pregnancy and ultimately their relation. Meanwhile George is realizing her relationship with Ryan was toxic and he took advantage of her. We see her confront him, heal her past and move forward in a healthy relationship with Nick.
