The Challenge: USA: Kyland & Kyra Talk Latest Trivia Elimination!

Big Brother’s Kyland Young and Love Island’s Kyra Green talk all about the latest episode of The Challenge: USA including the trivia elimination, and the team that was close to going down in their place!

It’s getting down to the wire on The Challenge: USA after two more players were eliminated from the game

Kyland and Kyra gave it their all, but in the end, they were forced to leave the game after losing the latest elimination.

The Big Brother and Love Island alum talked with Benny Adams on Challenge Reality News about their time in the challenge house and how they were almost spared from going into elimination.

From day one Kyland was a huge threat physically and socially, so it was no surprise to Kyra that she would be going into elimination as well.

“I knew after the daily challenge, Kyland leaned over and said I’m sorry we’re going in. Just with his history of putting them in, I knew no matter what I said they were pretty much going to put us in.”

Kayla made it known that the reason she wanted Kyland to go into elimination was that he never talked game with her. However, Kyland says whether he talked game or not with Kayla, he still would have been put in.

“We were on separate sides of the house and were working with different sets of people, so there were limited conversations for us to have at that stage of the game. For that specific week, especially knowing that Dom was locked in with sending us in, it did make it an easy decision for Kayla overall, but it wasn’t going to be changed by any conversations.” Said Kyland

After the episode, some fans couldn’t help but wonder if Kyland had kept Xavier would his fate in the challenge house be different?

“You would have to count Xavier as a number for me, and he wasn’t. So when people say you lost a number… He wasn’t one of my numbers.” Said Kyland.

During the episode, Sarah made it known that she wanted to go into elimination, but ultimately Dom and Kayla picked Kyland and Kyra. What viewers didn’t see was that there was an actual plan to throw Sarah and Tyson in at the last minute.

“At the elimination, there was a plan in place for her to ask if it was something that she knew she could win. But you get there and you see this weird structure you don’t know, so she didn’t want to go in and risk it.” Said Kyland.

Although they did not win Kyra says if she would have won the elimination, she would have come back in the challenge house better than ever.

“I would have felt way more confident in my game, in general, coming back and having the money to be qualified for a final.”
