Netflix has released the official trailer, key art, and new images for its upcoming psychological thriller The Beast in Me, starring Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys. All eight episodes of the limited series will premiere November 13, 2025, exclusively on Netflix.

From creators Howard Gordon (Homeland, 24, The X-Files) and Gabe Rotter (The X-Files), The Beast in Me explores grief, obsession, and the blurry line between truth and madness. The series follows Aggie Wiggs (Danes), a once-acclaimed author who has withdrawn from public life after the tragic death of her young son. Isolated and unable to write, Aggie becomes transfixed when the house next door is purchased by Nile Jarvis (Rhys), a powerful real estate mogul with a dark past — he was once the prime suspect in his wife’s mysterious disappearance.

Haunted by her own pain and drawn to Nile’s secrets, Aggie begins to unravel a dangerous psychological game of cat and mouse. What starts as a writer’s curiosity soon turns into a deadly obsession as she hunts for the truth while running from her own demons.

The series boasts a powerhouse creative team, including showrunner, writer, and executive producer Howard Gordon, and creator, writer, and executive producer Gabe Rotter. Antonio Campos (The Staircase) directs and executive produces, alongside Claire Danes, Daniel Pearle (American Crime Story), Conan O’Brien, Jeff Ross, David Kissinger, Caroline Baron (Severance), and Jodie Foster.

In addition to Danes and Rhys, the ensemble cast features Brittany Snow and Natalie Morales, with guest appearances from Jonathan Banks, David Lyons, Tim Guinee, Hettienne Park, Deidre O’Connell, Aleyse Shannon, Will Brill, Kate Burton, Bill Irwin, Amir Arison, and Julie Ann Emery. The series is produced by 20th Television.

With a haunting premise and powerhouse performances, The Beast in Me promises a tense and emotional viewing experience that explores what happens when grief, guilt, and curiosity collide.

The Beast in Me premieres November 13, 2025, only on Netflix.
