The undisputed King of Bachelor Nation, Tyler Cameron, is making waves again, this time in his explosive profile in Paper Magazine.
Paper Magazine is most famous for breaking the internet in 2014 when the magazine posted nude photos of Kim Kardashians, and theyve featured a huge swath of other A Listers including Demi Lovato, Katy Perry, and Miley Cyrus, and now they can add Tyler Cameron to that list.
Though Paper Magazine is most commonly recognized for its nude spreads, Tyler is primarily clothed for this one (sorry, ladies!). The article focuses on his general feminist perspective on dating his adherence to female empowerment, consent, and respect when pursuing both an emotional and physical relationship.
One of the most interesting takeaways from the article focuses that moment in Hannahs season when Tyler and Hannah chose not to get physically intimate during fantasy suites. If you remember, Bachelor Twitter went nuts around Tylers immediate respect for Hannahs physical boundaries.
In the article, Tyler actually pushes back against the reaction.
She said that she didn’t want to have sex, and I was like, 100%. But the response to that was so big, which is scary, admitted Tyler. No is no. So it was just honoring her and being true to that. This should be normal. We should not even bat an eye at it.
This is actually a pretty nuanced observation, and as someone who admittedly isn’t as passionately on the Tyler train as the rest of Bachelor Nation, I really do appreciate his perspective here.
