Lauren Himle may not have found love on Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor, but she did find her happily ever after as she tied the knot with fiancé Doug Rahiam at their wedding Sunday.

Himle, a kindergarten teacher turned real estate agent from Michigan, married Rahaim in a waterside wedding in Petoskey, MI. Himle met her husband at the real estate agency where they both work.

“They were fast friends and eventually began dating after two very fitting Dove Chocolates that stated ‘What are you waiting for?’ and ‘Why not?’” reads their wedding story. “Almost two years after they began dating, Doug popped the question at St. Ignatius Church on the beach in Good Hart, Michigan. This church was always a special place for Lauren as her family took annual photos there when she was a child, and Lauren’s parents own the cottage next door.”

Their original wedding date, July 11, was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“The fact that we’ve thrived throughout all of this shows me how lucky I am to have you!” she wrote in a birthday post for Rahaim. “You’re everyone’s favorite person, including mine. I love you so much!”

Himle was a cast member on both The Bachelor season 20 and Bachelor in Paradise season three.
