Taylor Swift: Unplugged & Vulnerable – Miss Americana Recap & Review

Join us here at AfterBuzz TV to discuss the Miss Americana documentary featuring Taylor Swift.

In this documentary, we get a never before behind the scenes look into Taylor’s songwriting process, her family relationships, and her personal battles. We start with her on the piano in her house with her adorable cat walking on the keys.  We are reminded of the girl who wrote songs in her diary before she was Tay-Tay. We see all sides of her; The pop icon in the stadium tour who after the show, just wants to be liked. She talks about her eating disorder, and how it’s still a battle.  We get to see Taylor and Nate Ruess collaborate in studio for the song ME! Finally, we witness her decision to make a political statement against an anti-gay politician in her home state. Her openness and vulnerability are both brave and endearing as we follow her journey from America’s sweetheart to a woman who is finally standing up for herself and what she believes in.
