Survivor 49 Cast Reveal Brings Big Names And Surprises

Survivor 49 cast reveal features 18 new players from all walks of life including a Marvel producer, a rock musician, and two castaways who will advance to compete with legends on Survivor 50 in 2026.

CBS has officially revealed the 18 castaways set to compete on Survivor 49, premiering Wednesday, September 24. The new season not only features fresh faces from across the country, but it also carries extra weight as two contestants from this group will go on to compete in the landmark Survivor 50 alongside legends of the game in spring 2026.

Among the newcomers are people from all walks of life, ranging from a rocket scientist to a musician to a Hollywood film producer. The biggest name of the bunch is Nate Moore, a major creative force behind Marvel Cinematic Universe hits like Captain America: Civil War and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Another standout is Kimberly “Annie” Davis, an Austin-based rocker known as the frontwoman of Trashy Annie.

Longtime host Jeff Probst teased earlier this summer that two of these season 49 castaways would return for Survivor 50, where they’ll face off against an all-star lineup including past winners and fan-favorite players. The identities of those two future competitors are still being kept under wraps.
