Shows We Wish Had One More Season!

Ever finish watching a show and wish the ending would’ve turned out differently? Us too! Here’s our list of some shows that we wish would’ve had one more season to make for a different series finale.

The Good Place

The Good Place felt very short lived, with only four seasons. Although the ending was as satisfying as we could’ve hoped for, the show could’ve lasted at least one extra season. The ending could’ve stayed the same, but an extra season could’ve given us fans some more time before having to say bye to our favorite characters!

How I Met Your Mother

After staying loyal to the show throughout 8 seasons, fans were finally ready to meet and love the mother of Ted’s kids in the final season of How I Met Your Mother. However, the season didn’t quite go as expected focusing more on Barney and Robins’s wedding. While we loved watching this season, we didn’t get to see much of Ted’s and Tracy’s love story. We saw them fall in love, and we eventually learned that she passed away at some point in their marriage. A 10th season could have included more about the love story and lives that Ted and Tracy had after they met, giving the fans a much more satisfying ending.

Jane The Virgin

Jane The Virgin consistently showed Jane dating back and forth between Michael and Rafael, until she eventually ended up marrying Michael. To us, it was clear that she and Michael were supposed to be end-game, but after his death, Jane got back together with Rafael. Even when Michael came back into the series, she still ended up with Rafael. One more season could’ve turned around who she ended up with and could’ve had Jane and Michael get married once again.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life

Us Gilmore Girls fans loved seeing some new episodes to see where Rory and Lorelei ended up! However, that ending just left us with more questions. It left us with a cliffhanger that felt like it called for a second season or multiple seasons. Even with just one more season we could have seen what happens with Rory’s pregnancy and could have made the spinoff come full circle with the original series.

Hollywood

Unfortunately, Hollywood was very short lived, with only one season. It was intended to be a miniseries and never be renewed for a second season. However, the show could’ve been greatly successful with at least one more season to it! We need more info on what happens with these characters!
