Sunday night’s episode of ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ was full of ups and downs for the ladies!
Sunday night’s episode had its ups and downs. For the most part, the women got along during this episode but they definitely did have their moments. I gathered some of the biggest moments for our weekly wrap up, so let’s get into it!
Gizelle and Jamal
So far during this season, we’ve seen Jamal and Gizelle’s rekindled relationship every so often. This time, we saw them have a talk when Gizelle was taking Jamal to the airport. The two have had to do a long distance relationship, and even though the flight is about an hour, Gizelle expressed how she misses him and long distance isn’t fun.
She also said that going ring shopping for Robyn with Juan (we see this at the beginning of the episode) reminded her of what she can’t have right now. Gizelle told Jamal that she’s all in and he agreed. They both said they aren’t who they used to be so we will probably see how these two progress in future episodes.
Monique’s Podcast Event
Monique had an event for her “Not For Lazy Moms” podcast and she decided to call and invite all of the women in hopes that they could witness her progress since the fight. When she arrived she said she was kind of in her emotions because none of the women showed up except for Ashley. Monique expressed to Ashley that she is feeling a bit iced out from the other women and Ashley shared with her about the time Karen told Candiace that she’d press charges if she was in her situation. That didn’t sit too well with Monique.
Juan and Robyn
At the beginning of the episode, we saw Gizelle and Juan go ring shopping for Robyn. Fast forward, Robyn, Juan, their two sons, and Robyn’s parents go bowling. When Robyn went to the bathroom, Juan told her parents and their sons that he was planning on proposing and wanted their blessing. Her parents said that they still see a lot of love between them and that they just had to get over their differences when they were married before. They ultimately gave him their blessing.
Candiace and Karen
Candiace feels like Karen has been choosing sides between her and Monique so she pulled her aside to talk while at Wendy’s event. Karen told her that she told Monique that she was wrong and she isn’t going to just leave her and ice her out. Karen said that she has stood up for Candiace plenty of times and would have treated the situation the same if the tables were turned. Wendy came and chimed in causing her and Karen to argue a little. I’m hoping this whole fight situation gets resolved soon!
