Prime Video Sets Premiere For Harlan Coben’s Lazarus

Prime Video has revealed the first-look images and October 22 premiere date for Harlan Coben’s Lazarus starring Sam Claflin and Bill Nighy.

Prime Video has officially unveiled first-look images and the premiere date for its highly anticipated thriller series, Harlan Coben’s Lazarus. All six episodes of the limited series will debut globally on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, streaming in more than 240 countries and territories exclusively on Prime Video.

Based on an original story idea by New York Times best-selling author Harlan Coben and written with BAFTA-winner Danny Brocklehurst, Harlan Coben’s Lazarus promises to deliver a gripping mix of psychological suspense and emotional drama.

The series centers on Joel Lazarus, played by Sam Claflin, who returns home after the suicide of his father, Dr. Jonathan Lazarus (portrayed by Bill Nighy). What begins as a personal tragedy quickly spirals into something far more sinister as Joel experiences disturbing, inexplicable events. His search for answers draws him into the tangled mysteries of multiple cold-case murders while forcing him to confront the unsolved killing of his sister from 25 years earlier.

The supporting cast includes Alexandra Roach as Jenna Lazarus, David Fynn as Seth McGovern, Karla Crome as Bella Catton, and Kate Ashfield as Detective Alison Brown, rounding out the drama’s intense family and investigative dynamics.

Behind the camera, the project boasts an acclaimed creative team. In addition to Coben and Brocklehurst, executive producers include BAFTA-winner Nicola Shindler (Nolly, It’s A Sin) and Richard Fee (Fool Me Once, The Stranger) for Quay Street Productions, part of ITV Studios. Sam Claflin also serves as an executive producer. Episodes one and two will be directed by Wayne Che Yip (Rings of Power, Utopia), who is also an executive producer. Matt Strevens (Doctor Who, Capital) joins as producer.

The six-part series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Quay Street Productions in association with Final Twist Productions.

With its chilling premise, international scope, and powerhouse creative team, Harlan Coben’s Lazarus is set to become one of Prime Video’s most talked-about thrillers when it premieres this fall.

Harlan Coben’s Lazarus launches globally on Prime Video on October 22, 2025.
