Prime Video is bringing the laughs this fall with the official trailer debut of Larry the Cable Guy: It’s A Gift, a brand-new stand-up comedy special set to premiere September 12, 2025.
Filmed at the historic Capitol Theater in Clearwater, Florida, the one-hour special marks the comedian’s latest return to the stage. Known for his rapid-fire punchlines, distinctive voice, and relatable everyman humor, Larry the Cable Guy delivers fresh material that touches on family life, aging, and the quirks of everyday modern living. Packed with both outrageous jokes and heartfelt moments, It’s A Gift promises a mix of classic Larry energy and new perspectives that fans won’t want to miss.
Larry the Cable Guy is one of America’s most recognized comedians, boasting multi-platinum albums, Grammy nominations, and Billboard awards. His previous special Remain Seated is currently streaming on Netflix, continuing to showcase his enduring popularity. Beyond stand-up, Larry has made his mark in film and television. He co-founded SiriusXM’s comedy channel Jeff and Larry’s Comedy Roundup with fellow comedian Jeff Foxworthy, and he famously voices Mater in Disney/Pixar’s Cars franchise, including Cars (2006), Cars 2 (2011), Cars 3 (2017), and the Disney+ series Cars on the Road. Looking ahead, he will reprise the beloved role in the Disney Jr. series Cars: Lightning Racers, which is set to debut in 2027.
His film credits include Jingle All The Way 2, A Madea Christmas, Tooth Fairy 2, Witless Protection, Delta Farce, and Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector. On television, he also hosted History Channel’s hit series Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy, immersing himself in unique American adventures over three seasons.
