AFTERBUZZ TV – Pretty Little Liars edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars. In this episode, host Kellie Olisky breaks down the “Lady Killer” episode in which Garrett’s trial starts, which turns Rosewood into a media spectacle. Meanwhile, Emily is at odds with the other Liars and doesn’t know where to turn when the media attention becomes too much for her. Of course, “A” sees this as a perfect opportunity and sends Aria, Hanna, and Spencer on a path to a possible truce with Emily. Spencer and Toby have sex in this episode. Maggie visits Ezra, making Aria uncomfortable. But Maggie doesn’t tell Ezra that she visited her, and asks Aria for a favor in return, to be quiet while she finds what’s best for Malcolm, her son, who’s also Ezra’s. A sends a text to the girls, telling them to meet at Ali’s grave at the Rosewood Cemetery at 10pm with Maya’s bag, but without Emily. The girls think A is Paige and that Paige is trying to keep Emily in the clear and clear her own name of being Maya’s killer. Emily tells Paige about the new A. Paige receives a text from A while she is with Emily, telling her to meet at the Rosewood Cemetery at 10pm. Emily and Nate head up to a lighthouse inn. She gets a call from A, in a distorted voice, who says, “You have one minute. Get out.” Nate arrives and makes small talk with Emily. When Emily realizes Nate has the same shoes as Maya’s ex boyfriend stalker, Emily tells Nate that she needs fresh air. Nate finds her trying to escape, and brings her back and shows her a video Maya made. It is revealed that Nate is Maya’s killer and that his real name is Lyndon James. Lyndon then opens a closet revealing a bound Paige, and tells Emily he is planning to kill Paige in front of her, (using the knife from Maya’s bag that had the initials LJ on it). He also says that he had thought Jenna saw him kill Maya, so that’s why he almost went out with her. Emily grabs Lyndon’s phone and then escapes. She makes it up to the lighthouse, while Aria, Hanna, Spencer, and Caleb are on their way. Lyndon follows her and they fight. Emily wrests the knife from Lyndon and stabs him in the chest. He falls to the floor while Emily sobs. Caleb is the first to arrive on the scene and puts his gun down to comfort Emily, but as they embrace, we hear a gunshot. Caleb has been shot in the abdomen while Lyndon dies. The police ask a comatose Emily if she knew the deceased. Paige tells the police that someone had sent her a text telling her to go to Alison’s grave at the cemetery, but Lyndon had gotten her before she could get there. Hanna, Spencer, Aria, and Emily make up and become friends again. Caleb is alive and undergoing surgery. Spencer lets Paige know that she is sorry for thinking she was A. Veronica Hastings tells the girls that Garrett is now a free man thanks to Emily. The girls get a four-way call from A, saying “Emily, I owe you one.” They look up at Garrett, who smiles at them. Later at night, Mona reveals to an A-Team member that Paige has Maya’s phone and that they need to get it. She says that if she knew Nate was going to get Garrett out of jail, she would have stayed in Radley. She is also disappointed that Paige wasn’t able to get to the graveyard and be framed for Maya’s murder by the girls. The A-Team member turns around, and it is Toby. At the end of the episode, A sits in his/her lair, and orders two tickets for the Halloween Ghost Party Train. There to help Kellie are co-hosts Whitney Lane and Stephanie Wenger.
