AFTERBUZZ TV – Pretty Little Liars edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars. In this episode, host Pat Lambert breaks down the “Kingdom of the Blind” episode, which opens with the girls watching Jenna and deciding Aria’s the one who needs to find out more about what she’s up to. They watch Lucas flipping one of the vice principals the bird. Hanna then follows him as he proceeds to set a letter for his parents on fire in a trashcan. Emily got a 94 on her test, but doesn’t understand how since she never finished it. Melissa is back in town. Veronica tells both her daughters that she’s defending Garrett pro bono. She’s doing this because she knows what it’s like to have a child accused of something they didn’t do. The girls think Jenna is pressing Aria to find out how much Emily remembers from “that night”. Spencer is convinced Melissa is the reason her mother is defending Garrett. Hanna wonders if perhaps Ian isn’t the father of Melissa’s baby, but Garrett is. Maybe that was the medical record Garrett told Spencer about. Aria asks Ezra whether he’s ever done what Ella did for Emily. She’s worried her mother is going to get fired at an upcoming meeting with the principal. Hanna visits a seemingly happier Mona and when Hanna asks her how she knows “A” wasn’t over even with Mona in the hospital, Mona replies, “It’s like you can’t trust anybody. Not even family. So, did they ever find what’s left of Alison?” Lucas tells Hanna he was visiting Mona to see if she is really “mental” or not. He then suggests to Hanna that Mona might be faking being mental, because being in a mental hospital is better than being in jail. Spencer pretends to be Melissa and calls for a copy of her ER records. She is told there is no record of her being at the facility. Also, when Melissa “lost her baby”, she stayed at the resort. Spencer calls the resort and they say she stayed three additional days and rented an additional room for her mother. They checked out on the same day. Caleb sits with Mona in the day room at the mental house. Mona mentions her uncle Ned teaching her Solitaire amongst other card games, but her favorite of all is Klondike. She tells Caleb it helps her pass the time. Caleb tells her not to mess with Hanna, and says “I get to walk out of that door. But you… aren’t going anywhere.” After retaliating with “you are a lousy kisser,” Mona throws a hysterical screaming fit and flips over the table. The four girls follow a sunglasses-and-cane-free Jenna to a gun store. When Jenna leaves they confront her in an alley. Jenna tells the girls she’s been able to see from the first operation and didn’t tell anyone. “It was the only protection I had.” Mona sings “In the Eye Abides the Heart” while lying in her hospital bed with a queen of hearts in her right hand. “A” is seen pouring themself a drink while making another necklace with Alison’s teeth. A body bag is chilling in the ice. “A” is seen unzipping the bag before the screen cuts to black. There to help Pat is special guest Brendan Robinson who plays Lucas Gottesman.
