AFTERBUZZ TV – Pretty Little Liars edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars. In this show, host Deidre Behar breaks down the mid-season finale episode “Over My Dead Body” in which “A” has given each of the four girls an important task to save Dr. Sullivan. They have until 7 pm to save their trusted confidant, who is revealed to be still alive. They each receive wind-up dolls that speak out their missions. Aria’s task is to get rid of Jackie with proof of Jackie’s plagiarism. Spencer must break up with Toby in order to keep him safe from “A”. Hanna must stop her father’s wedding by telling Isabel about her parents’ affair. Emily has to follow A’s directions, and winds up getting trapped in a barn with a car engine running. Emily passes out and is later saved from the death of carbon monoxide poisoning by “A” and dragged out of the barn. Emily has a conversation with Alison in a dream, and when Emily asks her who “A” is, Alison ambiguously replies, “Two can keep a secret if one of them is dead.” Emily then wakes up to find the other three girls beside her. Emily notices a shovel that hadn’t been present when she arrived at the barn. A message on the shovel reveals the coordinates of Dr. Sullivan’s location in the forest. The four assume that Dr. Sullivan was buried alive, but when they dig up the “burial ground”, they only find her boots and a dummy. They are cornered by the police and taken into custody (ironically, this is the deadline for saving Dr. Sullivan), and Detective Wilden is back in Rosewood to interrogate the four and accuse them of homicide. Towards the end of the episode, it is revealed during a conversation between Jenna and Garrett that they had written the note Jason received the night Ali died that said “I know what you did” and Garrett gives Jenna the missing page 5 of Alison’s autopsy report which he plans for Jenna to burn. The episode concludes with “A” at a diner with Dr. Sullivan, who coldly states, “I’ve done everything you’ve asked me to do.” “A” gives her an envelope and Dr. Sullivan disgustedly leaves the diner. A waitress approaches A’s table and asks, “How you doing, pretty eyes? You want a piece of pie?” “A” sends the Liars on a hunt to destroy lives in order to save another. There to help Deidre are co-hosts Joslyn Davis, Dana Livingston Ward, David Schifilliti, and sisters Sydney and Aubrie De Bear.
