Premieres For The Week Of January 24th, 2021

Most of our favorite yearly shows have started back up, but there is still plenty of more TV to watch. Here is everything premiering in the upcoming week! 

Sunday, January 24th

Bridge and Tunnel

The new series is set in the 1980’s and revolves around a group of recent college grads setting out to pursue their dreams in Manhattan while still clinging to the familiarity of their working-class Long Island home town. The season will be 6 episodes with new episodes airing every Sunday at 9pm ET on Epix.

Charmed

In the third season of the magical reboot we will get the answers to if Mel will ever find true love, and if the destruction of the sisterhood is inevitable or if they can defeat the Conqueror. In the new season we will see Maggie pursuing her career ambitions, Macy returning to her science roots, and Mel’s activism being reignited. New episodes will be available every Sunday at 9pm ET on The CW.

Euphoria: F**k Anyone Who’s Not a Sea Blob

In the second special episode of the hit show, Jules reflect on the past year over the past year. It will serve as a bridge between the first and second seasons of the show. The episode will air on January 24th at 9pm ET on HBO.

If We Built It Today

The second season of the show that reimagines the world’s greatest monuments and structures if they were built today will look into Washington DC, the Titanic, and more! The premiere will be 2 hours with new episodes airing every Sunday at 8pm ET on Science.

Monday, January 25th

Snowpiercer

Season 2 of the hit sci-fi series will see a new power struggle emerges that will cause a dangerous rift as the peoples loyalty is divided between Layton and Mr. Wilford. Wilford has a new train with new technology and a new game plan. Meanwhile Layton will have to battle Wilford for the soul of Snowpiercer, and Melanie will lead the way to a shocking discovery that could change the fate of humanity. New episodes will air every Monday at 9pm ET on TNT.

Tuesday, January 26th

The Misery Index

In the third season of the game show that is inspired by the card game Sh*t Happens, teams compete against each other by attempting to rate hilarious and miserable real-life events based on the “misery index”, a ranking system created by a team of therapists. New episodes will air every Tuesday at 10:30pm ET on TBS.

mixed-ish

The second season of the spinoff will continue to tell the story of a young Rainbow Johnson and her family as they recount the experience of being a mixed-race family in the ’80s and the dilemmas they face as they navigate a world where the kids are perceived as neither black nor white. While the parents deal with the social dynamics of fitting into the suburbs, Rainbow and her siblings find themselves figuring out how to fit in when everyone else can’t decide where they belong. New episodes will be available every Tuesday at 9:30pm ET on ABC.

Teen Mom [OG]

Season 9 of the hit spinoff will see Amber, Catelynn, Mace, Cheyenne, and Mackenzie back, dealing with daily life of navigating children, relationships, career, and drama! This season will delve into how things change when the moms deal with the pandemic. New episodes will air every Tuesday at 8pm on MTV.

To Tell The Truth

The 6th season of the reimagined beloved game show hosted by Anthony Anderson with banter from the stars mom premieres. In each round, the panel is presented with three people who all claim to be the same person with the same incredible talent, job or achievement. One is sworn to tell the truth while the other two use every trick they can to deceive the panel. The panel of celebrities has a chance to grill each participant before taking turns deciding who they think is telling the truth. New episodes will air every Tuesday at 8pm on ABC.

Wednesday, January 27th

Bonding

The second season of the comedy premieres. The series follows A=a New York City grad student moonlighting as a dominatrix who enlists her gay BFF from high school to be her assistant. The entire season will be available on Wednesday January 27th on Netflix.

For Life

The second season of the true life story sees Aaron Wallace continue his fight and embark on a more personal journey. He is motivated by the hope of being reunited with his family and reclaiming a life of freedom to take up the mantle against systemic injustice from outside the prison walls. With continued help from the people who supported him – his family, a wily one-time public defender, Henry Roswell, and his former prison warden, Safiya Masry – Aaron continues his battle against the very political machine that once put him away, undeservedly. New episodes will air every Wednesday at 10pm ET on ABC.

Marrying Millions

The second season of the marriage show continues to see the couples handle life and pending marriages, while handling the hassles that accompany that by having one half be a millionaire. New episodes will air every Wednesday at 10pm ET on Lifetime.

Resident Alien

The new series based on the Dark Horse comic follows Harry, an alien that crash lands on Earth and passes himself off as a small-town human doctor. Arriving with a secret mission to kill all humans, Harry starts off living a simple life… but things get a bit rocky when he’s roped into solving a local murder and realizes he needs to assimilate into his new world. As he does so, he begins to wrestle with the moral dilemma of his mission and asking the big life questions like: “Are human beings worth saving?” New episodes will air every Wednesday at 10pm ET on SYFY.

Thursday, January 28th

Possessions

The new series tells the story of Natalie, a young French expatriate in Israel, is charged with the murder of her husband on their wedding night. Karim, a French diplomat in charge of helping French citizens who have to deal with the Israeli authorities, slowly falls for Natalie. He cannot figure out whether the young lady is deeply lost and vulnerable, or dangerously manipulative. Obsessed with this case, Karim will dive into Natalie and her family’s mysterious past. The entire series will be in French and Hebrew and be available on Thursday January 28th on HBO Max.

Rehab Addict Rescue

The new series will follow Nicole, best known for her hands-on restoration of crumbling historic homes to their former glory in HGTV’s Rehab Addict, as she rescues homeowners who are totally overwhelmed by the renovation process. The season will be 8 episodes and new episodes will be available every Thursday at 9pm ET on HGTV and Discovery+.

Friday, January 29th

The Great Escapists

The new reality series is the story of Richard Hammond (The Grand Tour) and Tory Belleci (Mythbusters), (arguably) two of pop-science TV’s greatest minds, with nothing but their smarts and their scrap shipwreck for survival. Can they invent themselves off the island? Or will they be castaway forever? This is the engineering challenge of their lives, will they succeed and become The Great Escapist. The season will be 6 episodes long and the entire season will be available on Friday November 29th on Amazon Prime.

We Are: The Brooklyn Saints

The new series focuses on a Brooklyn youth football program and its selfless coaches who provide a safe haven for kids to compete and learn lessons that will take them far in life. The entire season will be available on Friday January 29th on Netflix.

Saturday, January 30th

Wendy Williams: The Movie

The film which is executive produced by Wendy Williams is the biopic on her life, revealing the highs and lows she has experienced throughout the years. The film will air at 8pm on Saturday January 30th on Lifetime.
