Premieres For The Week Of February 28th, 2021

This week sees the return of hit shows like The Flash, Wynonna Earp, and Below Deck: Sailing Yacht. Plus the 78th Annual Golden Globes and Coming 2 America. Keep reading to find out everything to see on TV this week!

Sunday, February 28th

78th Annual Golden Globes

We start the COVID-19 award season with the 78th Annual Golden Globes. Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will host the award show that was postponed for almost 2 months due to the pandemic. However the hosts will be on separate costs with Poehler in Los Angeles and Tina Fey in New York. While the presenters will be appearing in person the winners will be remotely tuning in. The pre-show will also be different with Jane Lynch and Susan Kelechi Watson interviewing the nominees virtually. Jane Fonda will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award and Norman Lear will receive the Carol Burnett Award for their achievements. The awards will air at 5pm PT and 8pm ET on NBC.

Monday, March 1st

Below Deck Sailing Yacht

The spin-off of the Below Deck series premiers. This season Captain Glenn Shephard puts his trust in an all-new crew as they sail along the coast of Croatia to provide a luxurious experience for the guests, not to mention the ridiculous requests. New episodes will air every Monday at 9pm ET on Bravo.

Big Time Bake

The new dessert competition show features Buddy Valastro as he judges some of the best bakers from across the country as they go head to head. The contestants will have 6 hours to cook all different types of desserts with surprise themes. New episodes will be available every Monday at 11pm on Food Network.

Biggie: I Got A Story To Tell

The new documentary features rare footage and in-depth interviews about the music stars’ life. It celebrates the life of the rap star as he made his way up on the charts and in fame. The documentary will be available on Monday, March 1st on Netflix.

Debris

When an alien spacecraft is destroyed the wreckage that is scattered across the Western Hemisphere starts messing with the laws of physics in ways the residents living there can’t comprehend. Two agents from different continents have to work together to clear and collect the debris so that the mysteries don’t get discovered. New episodes will be available every Monday at 10pm ET on NBC.

Easter Basket Challenge

The holiday competition show features host Sunny Anderson. The contestants go head to head creating festive Easter delicacies while interpreting outrageous themes. Each of the 5 episodes will see a contestant eliminated with the final episode having the final 3 battle it out for the golden egg filled with $25,000. A new episode will air every Monday at 10pm ET on Food Network.

Ruth: Justice Ginsburg In Her Own Words

The new documentary follows the esteemed Ruth Bader Ginsburg as she discusses the challenges she faced as she made her way to becoming the second female Supreme Court Justice. The doc will be available on March 1st on STARZ.

The Voice

The singing competition show returns for its 20th season. The team coaches this season will be Nick Jonas, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, and Blake Shelton and Carson Daly returns to host. This year also marks the 10 year anniversary of the show. New episodes will be available every Monday at 8pm ET on NBC.

Tuesday, March 2nd

The Flash

The DC superhero show returns for its 7th season. This season we will find out where Iris went and the showrunner promises that there will be tears. We also have hints that we will see a big guest star from previous one of the early seasons. New episodes will be available on Tuesdays at 8pm ET on the CW.

New Amsterdam

The medical drama show returns for its 3 seasons. This season we will get the answers we were left without due to the abrupt stop of season 2. It will also handle the pandemic and how the hospital is affected by it. New episodes will be available every Tuesday at 10pm on NBC.

Race Across The World

The second season of the adventure show premiers. In the show five teams will compete against each other as they travel across the globe by whatever means they can, with the exception of phones. Whoever can make the quickest time will take home the grand prize. The entire season will be available on Tuesday March 2nd on Discovery+.

Soul of a Nation

The new series will give viewers a taste and look into the realities of Black life and dive deeper into this critical moment of racial injustice. Each episode will explore a specific theme including spirituality, Black joy, activism in sports and the racial uproar that happened after George Floyd’s death. The series will be 6 episodes long with new episodes airing every Tuesday at 10pm ET on ABC.

Wednesday, March 3rd

Farmhouse Fixer

The new renovation show stars Jonathan Knight as he restores centuries-old New England farmhouses. The series will be 6 episodes with new episodes airing every Wednesday at 9pm ET on HGTV.

Thursday, March 4th

60 Minutes+

In the new reimagined of the classic series, correspondents Enrique Acevedo, Seth Doane, Wes Lowery and Laurie Segall bring viewers a new perspective on the investigative reporting and exclusive newsmaker interviews that have made 60 Minutes must-watch television for generations. 3 episodes drop the first week with new episodes being available every Thursday at 3:01am ET on Paramount+.

The Deadly Type With Candice Delong

The new series is led by former FBI profiler Candice DeLong as she works to find common behavioral links between some of the world’s worst perpetrators. The first week will air 3 episodes with 1 episode airing a week after on Thursdays at 3:01am ET on Discovery+.

Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years

In the SpongeBob spinoff fans will get a look back to when the iconic characters first met in a summer camp that is extremely unique. The series will be CG animated and air the first 6 episodes on Thursday March 4th at 3:01am on Paramount+.

Pacific Rim: The Black

The new series takes place after Kaiju ravage Australia. Two siblings pilot a Jaeger to search for their parents, encountering new creatures, seedy characters and chance allies. The entire season will be available on Thursday March 4th on Netflix.

The Real World

The new season of the reality classic takes the very first cast reunited in the same loft they shared nearly 30 years ago. We will get the chance to catch up and also see how and if age changes anything about how the crew behaves. The entire season will be available to stream on Thursday March 4th on Paramount+.

Stephen Colbert Presents Tooning Out the News

The second season of the satire news show makes its premiere. The series is a daily news show Monday – Thursday that features a cast of animated characters and is led by anchor James Smartwood. The series features real-world news stories and interviews with live-action guests. The episodes will drop at 3:01am ET on Paramount+.

The TS Madison Experience

The new series follows TS Madison as she handles being an internet star and normal life. The influencer is setting on making her goal of being the first black, transgender woman to host a mainstream talk show a reality. The series will be 6 episodes long with new episodes airing every Thursday at 10pm ET on WE TV.

Friday, March 5th

City of Ghosts

The new series features the Ghost Club as their adventures take them all over the city of Los Angeles. They will interview ghosts, solve problems, and learn about the city’s history. The entire first season will be available on Friday, March 5th on Netflix.

Coming 2 America

The sequel to the hit 80’s film hits the screen. The new film once again follows Prince Akeem Joffer as he is set to become King of Zamunda. However, he discovers he has a son in America which has him setting back to the USA again. The film airs on Friday March 5th on Amazon Prime.

Wynonna Earp

The last 6 episodes of the 4th and final season of the hit show begins. The episodes will see Doc in jail, Wynonna adapting a partying lifestyle, and a mysterious thing in the garden. New episodes will air every Friday at 10pm ET on SYFY.
