Peacock Drops Trailer For The Copenhagen Test

Peacock releases the official trailer, key art and new imagery for The Copenhagen Test, the espionage thriller from James Wan’s Atomic Monster that stars Simu Liu, Melissa Barrera and more, ahead of the December 27 premiere on the streaming platform.

Peacock has debuted the official trailer along with striking key art and brand-new imagery for The Copenhagen Test, the upcoming espionage thriller series arriving December 27. The series comes from James Wan’s Atomic Monster and UCP, and features a top-tier cast led by Simu Liu, who also serves as an executive producer.

The ensemble includes Melissa Barrera, Sinclair Daniel, Brian d’Arcy James, Mark O’Brien and Kathleen Chalfant. Fans can explore the full gallery of new assets — including the trailer, key art and fresh images — as well as previously released photos and an earlier teaser, all now available from Peacock.

The dramatic first look teases high-stakes intrigue and psychological tension, built around a gripping concept: intelligence analyst Alexander Hale, played by Liu, discovers that his brain has been hacked. The unseen perpetrators now have complete access to everything he sees and hears, placing him at the center of a dangerous conspiracy.

Hale, a first-generation Chinese-American working deep inside a shadowy agency, is left to navigate a constantly shifting world of surveillance and suspicion. Trapped between those he works for and those who may be controlling him, he must carefully maintain a convincing performance at all times. The only way to expose who’s responsible and prove where he stands is to keep playing the role — 24 hours a day.

With its espionage twists, stylish visuals, and a performance-driven mystery at its core, The Copenhagen Test promises a tense ride into a world where nothing is secure and every action could be compromised.

The series premieres December 27, exclusively on Peacock.
