Our Favorite On Screen BFFs That Are Major Bestie Goals!

From Cristina and Meredith’s friendship on Grey’s Anatomy to Shawn and Cory’s bromance on Boy Meets World, we are highlighting the most iconic on-screen BFFs to celebrate International Friendship Month!

Everyone needs a bestie, the person you go to for a good laugh, a shoulder to cry on, and a steady presence in all stages of life. This person will be with you through thick and thin and will definitely outlast any significant other that may come your way.

And if you weren’t aware, February is known as International Friendship Month, and we are celebrating the spirit of friendship and the love we have for our best friends by taking a look at some of the most iconic on screen friendships that are unbreakable.

Cristina and Meredith from Grey’s Anatomy

We’re kicking off this list with one of the longest friendships we’ve seen in TV history. Cristina and Meredith had each other’s backs from the moment that they met all the way back in season 1 of Grey’s Anatomy. Though competitiveness and miscommunications might have tried to tear the pair apart, their friendship withheld the test of time. As Meredith said, Cristina is “her person.”

Rory and Lorelai from Gilmore Girls

Rory and Lorelai’s friendship reminds us that our parents can also be our best friends. They might have not chosen to be mother and daughter, but the dynamic duo showed us that our relationships can be turned into friendships. As Lorelai said, “we’re best friends first and mother and daughter second.”

Shawn and Cory from Boy Meets World

These two boys have also stood against the test of time and have proved to be one of the best on screen friendships ever seen. Shawn and Cory might come from very different backgrounds but that has never stopped them from being friends. In fact, the way that the pair continually support each other in everything inspires us to do the same for our best friends.

Will and Carlton from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Will and Carlton are polar opposites, and definitely have their moments, but that doesn’t stop the two from always standing up for one another. The cousins have shown us that behind all of the fighting and bad influencing is a friendship unlike any other. Besides, what’s a friendship without a little bit of teasing?

Rachel and Monica from Friends

Last but certainly not least is our favorites Rachel and Monica. Throughout Friends, we’ve seen these two butt heads and get into their share of arguments. But no matter what, they never let anything come in between them. They prove that the one of the greatest loves we will ever experience is that of our girlfriends.
