What’s a better stress reliever than dressing up as your favorite character for fun?!
While parties and festivities were canceled this year due to the pandemic, that didn’t stop celebrities from dressing up in the safety of their homes! We’re excited to look at some of our favorite celebrity Halloween costumes this year, so let’s get right into it.
Lil Nas X
A personal favorite costume from this year, rapper Lil Nas X dressed up as Nicki Minaj from her hit music video “Super Bass”! This costume is absolute fire and he completely nailed the look from head to toe.
Chrissy Teigen & John Legend
Afterbuzz’s favorite couple, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, posted this adorable pic in their costumes! John went as Spiderman and Chrissy as Swan Lake’s Odette.
Kim Kardashian
The gorgeous Kim Kardashian West dressed up as Tiger King’s Carole Baskin, while BFF Jonathan AKA Food God was Joe Exotic, her kids even dress up as her tiger cubs! This costume is adorable and very timely.
Saweetie
Saweetie absolutely slayed this year! Fully dressed as X-Men’s Mystique, we are loving how detailed her costume is.
Cardi B
Careful where you look, Cardi B popped off as Medusa this year! This amazing photo set looks good enough to be a new album cover. Her whole lower half This costume is absolutely amazing, to say the least.
Dr. Phil
Willy Wonka costumes have been very popular this year, but Dr. Phil switched it up by being Charlie’s Grandpa Joe! His wife even dressed up as Grandma Josephine! This nostalgic costume has totally won our hearts.
Kylie & Kendall Jenner
In similar vibes as Cardi, Kylie Jenner dressed as a Mugler Cobra this year! Her cobra head had fangs and all.
Her sister Kendall chose the character route, dressing up as Pamela Anderson in her 1996 film Barb Wire. Kendall took the opportunity to promote voting this year!

Heidi Klum
And last but certainly not least…the Queen of Halloween herself! Heidi Klum is well known for having the most insane Halloween costumes each year. However, this year even Heidi went the safe route! In this short video, she not only promoted staying at home this Halloween but showed off this year’s body painting looks!
The star also posted this behind-the-scenes peek of her getting body painted. In an interview with Vogue, she stated each body painting took 7 hours. We love this dedication to the season!
