Netflix is bringing French cinema to a global audience this fall. The streamer has officially released the trailer for its upcoming romantic comedy, set to arrive on September 26, 2025.

The film tells the story of Abel Camara, a beloved star caught in the middle of an existential crisis, whose life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Marion, a grounded woman navigating the challenges of everyday life. Their chance encounter sparks an improbable and delightfully funny love story, one that unfolds with heartfelt emotion, sharp humor, and surprising twists. At its core, the film explores the unpredictability of love and the courage it takes to embrace it.

Directed by Nina Rives, the project promises a balance of warmth and wit, offering audiences a refreshing take on modern romance. The film is produced by ZAZI Films, Federation Studio France, and Korokoro Productions, with additional participation from TF1.

The cast features an impressive lineup of French talent. Leading the film is Omar Sy, best known to international audiences for his role in Netflix’s Lupin and films like The Takedown. He stars alongside Sara Giraudeau, acclaimed for her performances in The Bureau and Bernadette. Rounding out the ensemble are Pascale Arbillot (On the Pulse, Lost Bullet) and Alban Ivanov (A Very Bad Friend, C’est la vie).

With a mix of seasoned performers and a director bringing a tender vision to the screen, this French production is positioned as one of Netflix’s most anticipated international releases of the year.

Audiences worldwide can stream the film exclusively on Netflix starting September 26, 2025.
