Nancy tries to fight her way out of the Whisper Box/ an alternate reality where Horse Shoe Bay is perfect and everyone’s happy. Katherine, Nancy’s mom is even still alive and cancer free. Nancy however wants to escape to solve Tiffany’s murder and get back to her sluething ways. This leads to her and Nick relighting their old flame, which helps Nancy realize that she still has feelings for him.

Much to Nancy’s dismay Owen is really dead. Even more disturbing is they find out that he didn’t die as a result of being The Blood Sacrifice for The Algaeca. Owen was murdered by a human, Nancy finds out through her connection with detective Lisbeth. Nancy investigates on her own and has a showdown with Lucy’s brother Josh! Who is also her Uncle. She has to break the news to him of her moms secret pregnancy and ultimately their relation. Meanwhile George is realizing her relationship with Ryan was toxic and he took advantage of her. We see her confront him, heal her past and move forward in a healthy relationship with Nick.
