Miranda Cosgrove leads rom-com misadventure The Wrong Paris, where dating show dreams go hilariously off course in Netflix’s latest film.
Netflix is taking viewers on a romantic detour this fall with The Wrong Paris, a new romantic comedy starring Miranda Cosgrove, set to premiere on September 12.
Directed by Janeen Damian and written by Nicole Henrich, The Wrong Paris follows Miranda Cosgrove’s character, a young woman who signs up for a dating show, dreaming of love under the Eiffel Tower—only to realize too late that she’s not in Paris, France, but Paris, Texas. Determined to get herself booted from the show, her plan hits a snag when she unexpectedly begins to fall for the show’s charming bachelor, played by Pierson Fodé.
The film boasts a cast full of familiar faces and rising stars, including Madison Pettis, Madeleine Arthur, Frances Fisher, and Yvonne Orji, along with Torrance Coombs, Christin Park, Emilija Baranac, Hannah Stocking, Veronica Long, Naika Toussaint, and Ava Bianchi.
The Wrong Paris is produced by Brad Krevoy and Michael Damian, with executive producers including Miranda Cosgrove, Galen Fletcher, Janeen Damian, Amanda Phillips, Jimmy Townsend, Vincent Balzano, and Kelly Frazier.
With its mix of mistaken identity, unexpected romance, and southern charm, The Wrong Paris promises to be a sweet and funny ride that flips the script on reality romance shows.
The film debuts exclusively on Netflix on September 12. For more details, visit www.netflix.com/TheWrongParis.
