AFTERBUZZ TV – Luck edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of HBO’s Luck. In this show, host Dave Klein breaks down the season 1 episode, “Episode 3” in which Ace enlists Nathan Israel (Patrick J. Adams), a cocky, young whiz kid, in his plans. Walter decides to enter his colt, Gettin’up Morning, in his first race, but loses Ronnie as his rider when the jockey takes a tumble. Burned by Mulligan (W. Earl Brown) at the claiming race, Marcus, Renzo and Lonnie send Jerry to buy the horse back – and then return him to Escalante (John Ortiz) to train. Ronnie, Gettn’up Morning’s jockey, takes a tumble in another race and Walter is forced to call upon Joey to help locate the inexperienced Rosie. Ace meets the young and cocky Nathan Israel and hires him with the intent of getting closer to his revenge against his former associates. Ace is approached by Claire with a business opportunity. The railbirds attempt to buy Mon Gateau back from Mulligan and hire Escalante to train him. There to help Dave is co-host Kristen Snyder. It’s Luck’s “Episode 3” podcast!
