AFTERBUZZ TV – AfterBuzz TV’s Mini Spotlight edition, is a short form interview series featuring actors & artists discussing their roles and shows as well as their thoughts, passions and journeys. In this episode host Amy Cassandra interviews Lindsey Lamer.
Lindsey is a star on the rise having recently starred in the popular Disney series “Girl Meets World” as the young version of lead character ‘Riley” and the upcoming drama “Broken Memories” opposite Rance Howard and Kelly Grayson. In “Broken Memories,” Lidsey plays the role of ‘Emmy’ who is the young daughter of ‘Maggie’ who works as the caregiver of an older gentleman (played by Howard) who suffers from Alzheimers. ‘Emmy’ spends her days talk with ‘Jasper’ at his farm house and sees the affects of this disease firsthand.
Born in Tulsa Oklahoma, Lindsey Lamer grew up watching her older sister perform in musical theater and pursue her dreams of becoming an actress. Lindsey was inspired by her sister’s passion for the craft and loved to pretend to be different characters herself so she began taking classes and soon she was booking commercials for national brands such as Sonic and mots recently Honda. As Lindsey continued to build her resume the family eventually moved to Los Angeles and she booked the coveted role of “Young Riley” on Disney’s popular spin off “Girl Meets World.”
