AFTERBUZZ TV – AfterBuzz TV’s Spotlight On edition, is a long form interview series featuring actors, actresses, and TV personalities discussing their upcoming projects as well as their thoughts, passions and journeys. In this episode host James Lott Jr. interviews Laura Linda Bradley.

ABOUT LAURA LINDA BRADLEY:

American Actress, Laura Linda Bradley has captured the hearts of stage and film audiences alike with her range of roles and diverse characters.

Laura is currently staring Laura, a sketch comedy TV show she wrote and created. The show has been greeted with praise from both critics and fans alike. She also recently completed filming on The Exorcist’s pilot as well as Wild Ride (2016) . 2016 is shaping up to be a very busy year for Laura, she is slated to star in Him & Her (2016) with production starting in early 2016 as well as two other features.

Born and raised in southern Virginia, Laura developed a passion for performing as a young child. She refers to her childhood as “magical” and credits it with giving her the courage to pursue her life long dream of performing. Laura made her acting debut at two and a half, and has had the acting bug ever since!

Laura was home educated, which afforded her the freedom to study the Arts from a young age. Laura’s dance and theatre arts education included such prestigious schools as North Carolina School of the Arts, VSA, The Virginia Govern’s School for the Arts and The University of South Carolina Columbia. She also studied with and later became a company member at Roanoke Ballet Theatre; Laura’s love of dance and the arts then took her to New York for two years where she continued her training at BAC & BDC with such choreographers as Mikhail Baryshnikov & Mia Michaels. After moving to LA, Laura’s love of dance was featured on countless episodes of Dancing with the Stars (2005)

Laura still refers to dance as her first love, and credits the studio for always being there when she needs to clear her head.

While in NY, Laura was cast in Step Up 2: The Streets (2008) . She enjoyed the transition from theatre to film so much that it prompted her to relocate to Los Angeles in 2007. Since relocating to LA, Laura has worked steadily in film, TV, and theatre. The independent film, Winter Goodbyes (2015), was a passion project for Laura, based on the Virginia Tech campus massacre and those left behind, which included several of Laura’s close friends. She has also worked on such studio films as Leatherheads (2008) and 17 Again (2009) with Zac Efron and Matthew Perry.

In addition to her acting career, Laura is a passionate philanthropist, whose causes focus on the importance of Children’s Arts Education, and the environment. Laura is also actively involved in charities such as Global Green USA, Wild Aid, LA Children’s Hospital.

Laura is a passionate animal activist working closely with WildAid to end the illegal sale and trade of endangered animals, Laura has been a WildAid committee member and spokesperson since 2012.
