Kate Winslet’s Goodbye June Sets Netflix Release Date

Goodbye June sets Netflix release date and shares first look photos as Kate Winslet directs the family drama starring Toni Collette and Helen Mirren.

Netflix has officially announced the release date and unveiled first-look photos for Goodbye June, a new family drama directed by Kate Winslet. The film will open in select theaters on December 12, 2025, before making its global streaming debut on December 24, 2025.

Goodbye June brings together an acclaimed creative team and an all-star cast. Winslet not only directs the film but also serves as one of its producers alongside Kate Solomon, working from a script penned by Joe Anders.

The movie features a powerhouse ensemble led by Toni Collette, Johnny Flynn, Andrea Riseborough, Timothy Spall, Kate Winslet, and Helen Mirren. Rounding out the cast are Stephen Merchant, Fisayo Akinade, Jeremy Swift, and Raza Jaffrey.

The film’s story unfolds in the days leading up to Christmas, when four adult siblings are forced back under one roof as their mother’s health unexpectedly declines. The family chaos only deepens with the presence of their exasperating father, leading to tensions and unresolved conflicts.

At the heart of the story is June, the family’s sharp-tongued and witty matriarch, who takes charge of her own fate with biting humor, blunt honesty, and unwavering love. In orchestrating her decline on her own terms, she pushes her family to confront not only her mortality but also their complicated relationships with one another.
