Prime Video has unveiled the first teaser for Invincible season 4 at New York Comic Con, revealing that Lee Pace will join the cast as Thragg when the hit animated series returns in March 2026.
Prime Video is gearing up for more action, blood, and brutal superhero drama. The streamer debuted the first teaser trailer for Invincible Season Four during its packed panel at New York Comic Con, where more than 4,500 fans gathered for the highly anticipated reveal.
Voice cast members Steven Yeun, Gillian Jacobs, and series co-creator, executive producer, and co-showrunner Robert Kirkman took the stage to premiere the new “Burger Mart-inspired” teaser, announcing that the hit adult-animated series will officially return in March 2026. Produced by Skybound Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios, the series continues to be one of Prime Video’s most acclaimed and popular titles.
The Comic Con event also delivered an exciting casting surprise: Lee Pace (Foundation, Bodies Bodies Bodies) will join Invincible as Thragg, one of the comic’s most powerful and feared villains. Thragg, the Grand Regent of the Viltrum Empire, was trained from birth to lead his people with ruthless authority. His mission — to restore Viltrum to its former glory at any cost — sets the stage for a new era of conflict that will test Mark Grayson’s strength and humanity.
The announcement follows Invincible’s record-breaking success. Season Three became Prime Video’s most-watched animation season ever, marking the biggest returning season across all of the platform’s adult animation originals. The series has earned Critics’ Choice and Primetime Emmy Award nominations in both 2024 and 2025, while maintaining a perfect 100% Rotten Tomatoes score for its third season. The first two seasons were both “Certified Fresh” and even took home Rotten Tomatoes’ Golden Tomato Award for Best Animated Series in 2023.
Based on the award-winning comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, Invincible follows a changed Mark Grayson as he tries to protect his home and the people he loves while the world recovers from catastrophe. His heroic journey places him on a collision course with a looming threat that could reshape the fate of humanity.
The ensemble voice cast includes Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, J.K. Simmons, Seth Rogen, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Lee Pace, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Matthew Rhys, Jason Mantzoukas, Zazie Beetz, Zachary Quinto, Ross Marquand, Mark Hamill, and many more.
Invincible is produced by Skybound Animation, the animation division of Skybound Entertainment. Executive producers include Robert Kirkman, Seth Rogen, David Alpert, Catherine Winder, Simon Racioppa, Margaret M. Dean, and Evan Goldberg, with Helen Leigh and Cory Walker serving as co-executive producers.
Invincible Season Four will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in March 2026.
