Prime Video renews Invincible for season 5 ahead of season 4’s 2026 debut,adds Matthew Rhys to cast and continues critical acclaim streak.
Invincible is flying high once again. Prime Video has officially confirmed a season five renewal for its hit adult-animated superhero series, well ahead of the anticipated fourth season, which is set to premiere in 2026.
The announcement, made on July 17, 2025, also revealed that Matthew Rhys will be joining the voice cast for the upcoming season. The show continues to soar as a fan favorite and critical darling for Prime Video, with its third season earning the title of the most-watched Animation season of all time on the platform—making it the biggest returning season ever among the streamer’s Adult Animation Originals.
Created by Robert Kirkman, with Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley, Invincible is based on the acclaimed comic book series of the same name. The story centers around Mark Grayson, a 17-year-old who inherits superpowers from his father and learns firsthand the harsh realities of heroism. As Mark’s journey unfolds, he confronts painful truths about his past and future in his pursuit to protect the people he loves.
