5 New TV Shows Airing this April On Netflix!

Every month we get new TV shows added to our watchlist on Netflix, but you’ll certainly want to look out for these 5 TV shows coming soon this April!

Beef – April (6th)

The fresh new dramedy tells the tale of two strangers who engage in a feud as a result of a chaotic road rage incident. Ali Wong (Amy Lau), Steven Yeun (Danny Cho), and Mia Serafino, to name a few, are among the cast members. According to What’s On Netflix, this new television show will consist of ten 30-minute episodes.

Transatlantic – (April 7th)

If you enjoy period pieces based on true stories, this new show is most definitely one for you! A soon-to-be-released limited series follows the journey of two Americans and their allies as they organize a rescue mission to save refugees escaping occupied France during the Second World War. This series is based on the true story of Varian Fry and Julie Orringer’s novel The Flight Portfolio. The cast will feature Cory Michael Smith as the lead, along with Gillian Jacobs and Lucas Englander, among others.

Florida Man – (April 13th)

Florida Man is an upcoming limited series that follows a debt-ridden cop who returns to his home state of Florida in order to work on a mission and embarks on a shady yet thrilling treasure hunt. Cast stars include Edgar Ramirez, Abbey Lee, and Anthony LaPaglia.

Alex Schwazer: Running for My Truth

This reality series centers around the rise and fall of an Italian race walker and Olympic gold medallist, Alex Schwazer. It is a docuseries that demonstrates his approach to returning to the Tokyo Olympics after being banned for doping.

The Nurse – (April 27)

The Nurse is a new Danish series that centers around crimes that are committed inside a hospital. This new series is based on a book as well, The Nurse: The True Story Behind One of Scandinavia’s Most Notorious Criminal Trials by Kristian Corfixen about the true story of a nurse who was convicted of the manslaughter of four patients. Oof! The series stars actors Josephine Park and Fanny Louise Bernth and will be available on your screens this April 27th!
