Sofia follows Vioello’s plan and goes to the press about the picture that leaked of Lenny was from years ago, then she leaves and turns in the terrible trio and resigns from her position. Pope Pius XIII and Pope John Paul III meet and talk about how to take on the Islamic Terrorists to save the hostages. Pope Pius XIII finally resigns and moves home, is greeted by his parents and is finally able to be with Sofia! Lenny takes over as Pope, confronts the terrorists to find out it is Ester and the girl in the red hoodie! Lenny speaks to the public and goes down to greet everyone only to crowd surf back to St. Peter’s Basilica where is laid to rest. The doctor’s wife Ewa is pregnant, John Brannox and Sofia are together, Faisal is freed from prison and reconnected with the nun and their newborn, and with Ester in jail, her son Pius rides around the Vatican like the little boy in The Shining only to run into the new Pope, Voiello!

Sofia is confronted by Leopard Essence about her husband, she follows him to find out he, Spalletta and Guicciardini are having relations with an underage girl. Ester is done with Fabiano but now wants paid directly $15,000 per visit with Attanasio. Spalletta is confronted by the Pope but makes an excuse for his actions and instead, convinced the Pope to get Voiello out. Voiello does resign but provides gifts on his way out. The Pope finally has his live interview and goes through withdrawal mid-interview and gets up and walks out during tough questions about the church. Lenny is still breathing and sighing and knocks out the electricity.
