The tour, produced by Live Nation, launches with a special Oct. 14 kickoff at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles before heading across North America, Europe, and Australia. Stops include Mexico City, Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, D.C., Minneapolis, Chicago, Denver, Toronto, and New York, before wrapping the U.S. leg on Jan. 17 at The Fillmore Detroit.
From there, Halsey will embark on a European run with shows in Amsterdam, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Paris, Manchester, and London. The celebration concludes with three Australian dates in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne in mid-February.
Tickets will first be available through an artist pre-sale beginning Tuesday, Sept. 2, with additional pre-sales running throughout the week. The general on-sale begins Friday, Sept. 5, at 10 a.m. local time.
Released in 2015, Badlands debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and spawned fan favorites including “Ghost,” “New Americana,” “Colors,” and “Castle.” According to a release, it is one of the rare albums in music history where every track has been certified gold, platinum, or multi-platinum by the RIAA.
Halsey has recently revisited the record, dropping a new music video for “Gasoline” and promising another soon for “Drive.” The singer also marked the album’s fifth anniversary in 2020 with their first-ever live album, Badlands (Live From Webster Hall).
The Back to Badlands Tour promises to be both a nostalgic journey for longtime fans and a global celebration of the record that launched Halsey into stardom.
