We are finally introduced to Natalie, Dorothy’s doctor and friend who brought the reborn doll into the Turner’s home. When invited over for dinner, Sean is forced to enlist the help of Leanne in keeping the real baby Jericho a secret. After another awkward dinner, Natalie discovers baby Jericho in his crib not long before being chased out of the room by a rabid wolfhound. Julian comes to the rescue by bludeoning the wolfhound to death wth an empty wine bottle. However, this death is short lived once the wolfhound is mysteriously resurrected and storms out of the house, following a “confrontation” between Julian and Natalie. The Turner family is in disbelief.

In the season finale, Sean and Dorothy finally hold the baptism for baby Jericho when the after party is crashed by the return of Uncle George and the introduction of Aunt May. After sharing a spiritual connection with Uncle George, Sean appears to regain his faith while Aunt May tries to talk Leanne into coming home. Many mysteries are revealed as we learn Uncle George and Aunt May faked Leanne’s death while it is also discovered that Aunt May is a cult leader that has had a previous run-in with Dorothy in her work as a field reporter. Upon this revelation, Dorothy appears to “wake up” from her false reality as Leanne leaves with her aunt, uncle, and the rest of the cult. Sean is left testing his faith.
