Female Celebs Who Love the UFC

From its earliest incarnations to the creation of the many influential MMA organizations, the sport of Mixed Martial Arts has been growing significantly over the past few years, with its popularity and massive fandom taking the great heights in the world of competitive sports.

The first high-profile mixed-martial-arts bout was between famed judoka practitioner, Masahiko Kimura, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu founder Hélio Gracie, and now there are many influential MMA organizations, such as Pancrase, Pride FC and perhaps the preeminent of the bunch, the UFC.

And with that massive fandom, celebrities have taken a liking to MMA, especially with the UFC. And although there are many male celebrity fans, there just as many female celebrity fans of the combat sport.

Here are just a few…

Mandy Moore

Singer and actress Mandy Moore has been a massive fan of the MMA and the UFC for many years, from giving predictions for major title fights to being present at many UFC events. She has also tweeted numerous times in response to major UFC events.

Cindy Crawford

From having her breast signed by UFC Hall of Famer Matt Hughes to photobombing former Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping, Cindy Crawford has been no stranger to the Octagon and MMA. Her looks even distracted UFC-great, Georges St-Pierre, during his fight against BJ Penn at UFC 58 while Crawford sat cageside.

Madonna

The “Queen of Pop” can also be called the “Queen of the Cage,” with the pop icon being present for the historic UFC 205 event, being held for the first time in New York City. She was spotted sitting next to other A-List stars Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron, with the latter mentioning on Jimmy Kimmel Live Madonna is very knowledgeable when it comes to the sport of Mixed Martial Arts and was “having the time of her life out there.”

Charlize Theron

Perhaps the most vocal of the bunch is actress Charlize Theron, who was first introduced to the UFC by a friend and since then has become “completely and utterly obsessed.”

Since then, she has been present at many UFC events, including UFC 209, where Theron allegedly gave the “double birds” to Polish-Heavyweight fighter, Marcin Tybura.

Demi Lovato

Demi takes her fandom to the next level. She not only watches each event, but she ACTUALLY trains with prominent UFC fighters and analysts, like Women’s Strawweight competitor Emily Whitmire and Jay Glazer. She has also earned her blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the tutelage of prominent Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, Orlando Sanchez. She was also allegedly romantically linked to a couple of MMA stars, including former UFC Middleweight Champion, Luke Rockhold.
