Amidst the budding drama of Champagne-Gate and the return of Hannah Brown, frontrunners are already starting to emerge in the Bachelor Mansion for the future Mrs. Peter Weber.
Among the women vying for Pilot Petes attention is 23-year-old Madison Prewett, Webers choice for his first one-on-one date. Prewett experienced the first date to end all first dates when she was invited to join the Bachelors family as his parents renewed their vows, with Captain Weber at the helm officiating.
I feel so welcomed by everyone here, she said. This was the most incredible first date Ive ever been on in my life.
Like the aforementioned Bachelorette Hannah Brown, Prewett hails from Alabama and is also a former pageant girl, along with a high school basketball MVP. While basketball and pageantry make for great visuals as a Bachelor cast member, perhaps Prewetts most interesting trait to explore on the show is her faith.
[Madison] is looking for a man who will prioritize faith and family before everything else. She is hoping to find someone who shares the same religious values that she and her family have, reads her cast bio.

Prewett is a Christian, and even attended seminary school at Highlands College to pursue ministry, according to Cosmopolitan.
The Lord just spoke to me and I had this revelation and realized in that moment what my God-given purpose was, and thats ministry. In any way, shape, or form, I know that that is what the Lord has called me to do, she said in a since-deleted YouTube video transcribed on Cosmopolitans website.
That ministry has taken shape in her current job as a foster care recruiter, where she takes applicants willing to take in children as foster parents.
Prewetts faith and passion for helping others is something she shares with Weber, though theyve yet to discuss it on the show. Weber has been taking over Instagram with posts about his work with Seed to Mountain Ministries, sponsoring a mission trip to Uganda.
Faith first became a central topic of conversation on Browns season of The Bachelorette, and former bachelor Colton Underwood criticized the franchise for not including the conversations he had during hometowns on his season about religion.
Sometimes we shy away from it because religion, its a little bit like sex, where its taboo to discuss in the open, host Chris Harrison said of Browns season. I think it needs to be brought in the open more sometimes.
Weber has already brought his belief in God to the table in his season of The Bachelor during conversations with the women, but only in passing. But with a frontrunner who prioritizes shared faith in a relationship as much as Prewett, it seems the franchise wont be able to shy away from those discussions in this season.
