ABTV Loves Euphoria Weekly

One of the most popular teen series on HBO is back in production! Recent TikTok videos shared on Twitter show Euphoria cast members, Zendaya and Hunter Schafer, interacting with fans. The actors were seen reprising their roles as Rue and Jules. The teen drama encountered delays because of the coronavirus just before starting production for season two, but it seems like Euphoria is making progress again.

The star of the dark drama, 24-year-old actress Zendaya, posted on Instagram showcasing a photo from her Idôle campaign with Lancôme. The Euphoria star glowed in pink as she held up the fragrance bottle. Fellow Euphoria actress and MAC Cosmetics partner, Alexa Demie, left a yellow heart in the comments to show support for her co-star.

Fans can also catch a glimpse of Zendaya in the new trailer for the science-fiction film, Dune. The official trailer for the upcoming adventure movie was released on Sept. 9th. Zendaya, along with other actors like Timothée Chalamet, expressed their excitement for Dune on Twitter.

Last week was Zendaya’s birthday, but now this week fans sent Sydney Sweeney sweet birthday wishes. The actress turned 23 on Saturday, Sept. 12th.

Singer and activist Halsey is making her acting-debut alongside Sweeney in The Player’s Table. The new television series is an adaptation of Jessica Goodman’s book, They Wish They Were Us. The TV show is the first project Sweeney is executive producing with her production company, Fifty-Fifty Films. The Euphoria actress and bookworm has teamed up with Jean-Marc Vallée and Nathan Ross’ Crazyrose and Endeavor Content

Not only did Barbie Ferreira grace followers with stunning Instagram photos, but her latest movie was just released on HBO. It’s pretty clear that the streaming platform loves casting Ferreira just as much as we love seeing her!

The release date of director Rachel Lee Goldenberg’s Unpregnant was just a few days ago. Ferreira and Haley Lu Richardson co-star in the coming-of-age film that follows a pregnant teen and her former best friend, played by Ferreira, as they depart on an unforgettable road trip. Some say the film has a similar comedic plot as the movies Booksmart and Juno.

Euphoria’s Kat Hernandez told Insta followers she attended a drive-in premiere for Unpregnant while socially-distancing. Of course, she wore this season’s favorite fashion piece—a facemask!

Angus Cloud plays Euphoria’s protective drug dealer Fez, who we’ve all come to know and love. Cloud is very active and supportive of the Black Lives Matter Movement and has dedicated his entire Instagram page to recognizing some of the lives lost at the hands of police brutality. Just this weekend, the actor shared a story closer to home.

“If you really gotta rob something do better jus think please,” Cloud pleaded at the end of the caption. Our hearts go out to Cloud and the victim’s family.

Dating rumors between Jacob Elordi and Kaia Gerber continue after the duo were spotted in New York City together. The Euphoria actor and the runway supermodel were seen accompanying one another throughout the week and were photographed holding hands on their way to dinner Friday night.

The 23-year-old actor used his Instagram story early this week to remind followers he’s a human being, regardless if he’s in the spotlight. He shared a screenshot of a video chat between him and his parents along with a message typed out underneath. In the sentiment, Elordi tells fans how far away from home he is and asks them to show kindness when life gets difficult.

Elordi’s fictional girlfriend from the series also had some exciting photos on social media. Maddy Perez switched her usual chic look for something a little more magical. Actress Alexa Demie posed for photographer Petra Collins in what appears to be a fantasy shoot for a new series. Demie wore pointy ear prosthetics with a long, luscious blonde wig in for an all-new type of photoshoot.

Maude Apatow, who plays Lexi Howard, posted her “new, super approachable look!” on Instagram. Hunter Schafer, aka Jules, left a few emojis in the comments, making it clear they were a fan of Apatow’s look.

The HBO series started the glitter-eye makeup and cool lighting trend we’ve seen all over TikTok. Even Hollywood stars like Lizzo have added their own spin to the trend. AfterBuzz TV is eager to see what other major influences the second season will have when it eventually airs on the streaming platform.
