Dynasty S3 E19 Recap & After Show: Plan Z Pills

This week on – CW’s DYNASTY – SEASON 3 – EPISODE 19 – ROBIN HOOD RESCUES – Blake and Anders are being held captive in a Maldovian jail for smuggling oil out of the country in Blake’s return to Carrington Atlantic. Adam and Liam are very concerned and plan an operation to get him back. Cristal is reluctant to believe Adam is doing this out of love and believes he has a hidden agenda. Liam was able to get blueprints to the palace and its prison from his Maldovian family contacts. Cristal wants to tell Fallon, finding a team of Adam and Liam to be incompetent. They set out to prove her wrong. Sammy almost ruins their plans of a secret operation by asking too many questions. Liam convinces Sammy that his private trip is for planning the bachelor party for the wedding. This causes Sammy to stow away on the flight having no idea what he is in for. Sammy opts to stay on the plane as Liam and Adam say he is not the rescuing type. Sammy agrees wishing he was more like the dangerous actor character of “Danny Trejo”. Meanwhile in Moldova, Blake and Anders are sitting in a holding room as a typical tough guy with an accent “security” general threatens them every so often to call off the tankers from taking the oil. Blake refuses to back down hoping there will be a rescue but with no real plan of escape or knowledge of if there will even be a rescue. Liam and Adam make their way to the holding room, but not by way of the plan. They were foiled and are now in holding as well. Blake berates Adam for his lack of saving him. As the group waits, Sammy has taken a variety of pills on the plane and in his heightened state of mind conjure an imaginary Danny Trejo as a spirit guide to help him through the rescue. Feeling that the plan must have gone awry because it took too long, Sammy plans to use his skills in hospitality to save them. He uses the hamper in the laundry, referring to the amount of lovers he has had to sneak out in this way at his own hotel. He manages to find a vent above the holding cell. As Black and Anders manage to district and take down the general, Sammy comes in and makes sure the manager is for sure down for the count with a swift kick to the face. The group exists through the vent leaving Adam who is unable to be pushed up as the last man left. Once on the plane, Blake is quick to say they should escape without waiting for Adam. On the plane Adam and Blake have a confrontation regarding all of this simply being because Blake refused to lose money. At home, Alexis’ advice show is going well, almost too well as her and Fallon are being sued by a woman (Joyce Doyle) who took Aleis’ advice too literal and ended up in a car accident. Fallon takes to censoring her mother while trying to fight the law suit. Evan, the lawyer, shows up with a plan. Evan clearly not over being crazy and/or over Fallon. He advises Fallon to settle for $2 Million dollars. Alexis not happy with settling, ebceause she felt she did nothing wrong goes to talk to Joyce and idea which even Fallon finds insane. Fallon goes to stop Alexis, and in a struggle they accidentally end up kicking Joyce. With proof how horrible an idea this was Fallon and Alexis realize that Joyce is faking. They confront Joyce who promises to drop the case. We see Evan waiting for Fallon to celebrate the settlement. Fallon expresses to Evan that she is not romantically interested in him, she wont be settling, and the best thing is for the two to not ever speak. Evan is seen calling Joyce who was working for Evan in his plan to get close to Fallon the whole time. With Dominique, Vanessa, and Culhane clearly the latter has not forgotten what the step mother step daughter duo had try to do to him. Dominique gets contacted by “Chase Cartof” a producer who promises her the world and her own show. This inspires Dominique to be even more selfish and reckless with the House of Deveraux producers and demand even more. The producers drop her show again Culhane’s wishes as he seems to have big plans for the next season and the Atlantics Soccer team. Being dropped Dominique promises Vanessa they have a better deal and show Culhane blatantly they were only using him. They go to the officers of “Chase Cartof” which is empty now as it was all a ruse set up by Kirby and Culhane to exact revenge on Dominique for trying to play him in the first place. Vanessa fires Dominique again. At home things have not been smooth with Cristal having packed her bags to leave even when Blake gets back safe. Adam decides to go back to his old evil ways after realizing Blake does not care about him as much as he did Blake. Blake was at the top of the world now his world has crumbled and he does not even know it.

The Dynasty Podcast

On this weeks CW’s DYNASTY – SEASON 3 – EPISODE 20 – SEASON FINALE – “MY HANGOVER’S ARRIVED” – as if we hadn’t had enough kidnappings this season Fallon is kidnapped, but this time by her family and friends as they take her on her bachelorette party. As to be expected all goes wrong as we find ourselves in the Dynasty’s version of the Hangover. Fallon is still very upset at Liam for not telling her about his plans to save her father. Fallon is so upset she actually has a prenup for Liam, not so much for the financial aspect as they are both billionaires in their own right, but for rules that benefit Fallon.

We begin the journey to New Orleans, the home of Mardi Gras, and find ourselves in a luxurious penthouse suite, with an amazing view, and a mixtress Mistress Delphine, known for her alcoholic concoctions. The crew which includes Sammy, Kirby, Cristal, Allison, and Fallon herself. Cristal is there to stay friends with Fallon despite a possible separation and divorce, and to drink away her own sorrows. Sammy and Kirby are there as the planners and Fallon’s best friends. Allison, Fallon’s assistant, is there to act as chaperone. Fallon makes ground rules, no sashes, no strip clubs, no pictures, basically nothing tacky that can be used against them later.

After the first sip of Mistress Delphine’s concoction all the plans go out the window as the crew finds themselves waking up the next day with massive hangovers, no phones or purses, and no clue as to what happened. They have to piece it together as Fallon finds a Marriage Certificate to a person named “Scorpio”, which worryingly makes her think she may have married someone in her drunken state. They find a sash with a store name on it. Upon returning to the sash and looking at the surveillance video, they realize they actually shoplifted from the store. They are arrested. While in jail, the gang realizes two things. First, Fallon is unnecessarily upset at Liam because he is right about Fallon’s prone to over react and second that Allison is missing as Culhane points out as he has come to bail them out.

Allison had been calling from an unknown number the whole time. They find her in the hospital, as she had fallen off a mechanical bull and suffered a concussion. They then realize they went to a strip club. Another place they find themselves not welcome, Allison shows her breasts to the bouncer who has threatened to call the cops and makes off with his walkie talkie, prompting him to run after her. The motley crew goes into the club to find Scorpio. Fallon goes on stage to try to talk to Scorpio, after his being announced and her seeing her engagement ring on his finger. Scorpio, being extremely helpful explains he didnt get married to Fallon, he got married to Sammy. Scorpio also has the purses and cell phones and gives them back. Extremely good looking and level headed, Scorpio easily agrees to annulment to the marriage but asks Sammy to call him. There may be romance in the air. On the plane ride back we see embarrassing photos of the trip captured on Sammy’s phone.

Meanwhile, Adam has not given up on his plan to sabotage Blake and CA. First he releases information about the stolen tankers to the press leading to an investigation into CA, then he attacks Blake and the Energy official he contacted to have the investigation tank, when all else fails he has a tanker exploded at the moment of their press conference. The old Adam is back and so are his old ways.
