Netflix sets a November 13 premiere date for the new Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys thriller The Beast in Me, debuting official first look.
Netflix has revealed the official first look at its upcoming psychological thriller The Beast in Me, starring Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys, with all eight episodes set to premiere on November 13, 2025.
In the series, Danes plays Aggie Wiggs, an acclaimed author who has withdrawn from the public eye following the tragic death of her young son. Struggling with grief and unable to write, she becomes fixated on her enigmatic new neighbor, Nile Jarvis, played by Rhys. Jarvis, a high-profile real estate mogul, was once the prime suspect in his wife’s mysterious disappearance. As Aggie grows increasingly obsessed, she pursues his darkest secrets while grappling with her own, setting off a dangerous game of cat and mouse that could have deadly consequences.

The cast also features Brittany Snow and Natalie Morales, with guest stars including Jonathan Banks, David Lyons, Tim Guinee, Hettienne Park, Deidre O’Connell, Aleyse Shannon, Will Brill, Kate Burton, Bill Irwin, Amir Arison, and Julie Ann Emery.
The Beast in Me comes from an acclaimed creative team. Howard Gordon (Homeland, 24, The X-Files) serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer, alongside series creator, writer, and executive producer Gabe Rotter (The X-Files). Danes also executive produces, while Antonio Campos (The Staircase) directs and executive produces. Additional executive producers include Daniel Pearle (American Crime Story), Conan O’Brien, Jeff Ross, and David Kissinger for Conaco, Caroline Baron (Severance), and Jodie Foster.
The series is produced by 20th Television and further cements Netflix’s growing slate of prestige dramas. With powerhouse performances from Danes and Rhys, the story promises a mix of psychological intrigue, haunting suspense, and deeply human emotion.
