Chrissy Teigen Shares Tragic Loss of Baby Boy After Pregnancy Complications

Chrissy Teigen is opening up about the difficult time in the hospital after losing her baby boy

Chrissy Teigen has been very open about her pregnancy struggles, including the non stop bleeding that landed her in the hospital Sunday night.

Wednesday night she took to Instagram share the hardest news she has ever had to share, that she had a miscarriage. She describes it as “the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before.”

Chrissy says despite all their efforts it wasn’t enough. She says that they were never able to stop the bleeding and give the baby the fluids he needed, even after multiple blood transfusions.

Her post shares five personal and moving black and white photos of the process. Including this photo of her getting an epidural before delivering the baby she called Jack.

Teigen said that usually they don’t name their babies’ until the last possible moment. This baby was different though. She said, “But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us.”

She continued on her post to say, “Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever.”

Teigen has struggled to get pregnant naturally in the past, and Jack was their miracle baby. Her two other children, Luna and Miles were conceived with IVF.

She goes on to talk directly to her son saying, “To our Jack – I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you.”

Tuesday, prior to the miscarriage Chrissy shared on Twitter that a blood clot led to a lot of scrambling for her and her doctors as they tried to hear the baby’s heartbeat. She said that trying to find the heartbeat felt like hours.

Teigen is keeping it very real with her fans saying that while they are grateful for everything they have been able to experience with their other two children “but everyday can’t be full of sunshine.”

“On this darkest of days, we will grieve, we will cry our eyes out. But we will hug and love each other harder and get through it.” Teigen even took to Twitter as they left the hospital to share another heart wrenching post.

Fans and friends are sending her and her family all the love and prayers, along with thanking her for sharing her experience with everyone to help others who have gone through the same thing.

Kim Kardashian, Hailey Bieber, Mandy Moore, Channing Tatum, Paris Hilton, Gabrielle Union are just a few of the celebrities who have reached out on her post, offering support, love and prayers.

We are thinking of Chrissy, John and their entire family as they navigate this difficult time and sending them our love.
