Chrissy Teigen gets a tattoo to remember her son and her friends donate blood in his honor.
Chrissy Teigen showed off her newest tattoo on her Instagram stories Saturday night. It is her son Jack’s name on her right wrist in cursive.
The tattoo is to commemorate and honor his life that was sadly cut short at just 20 weeks old. Chrissy suffered from placenta abruption and had uncontrollable bleeding throughout the last month of her pregnancy, even landing her in the hospital. There they did everything they could to try to stop the bleeding including countless blood transfusions.
Chrissy underwent a total of 7 blood transfusions but sadly they didn’t stop the bleeding and Chrissy and John Legend lost their son.
Chrissy’s friend, Kimmie Kyees, and her 6 friends hosted a blood drive in Jack’s honor on Oct. 31. They each donated a pint of blood in his honor and are paying it forward. It was a gesture that left Chrissy in tears. She couldn’t believe that her friend would do something like that for her and her family.
Making light of the whole situation Chrissy commented on her own post saying that if Kimmie got too booked up as a nail tech to do her own nails she would be very sad. She even went on to say that she stinks to try to make people not want to book her, when we all know that if she does Chrissy’s nails she has to be amazing!
