Show Summary: As a founding member of Destiny’s Child, Kelly Rowland knows what it takes to be successful, and she wants to share it with young women ready to follow her path. The talented vocalist joins forces with BET to launch “Chasing Destiny,” a multiplatform search for the next superstar girl group. All that’s required of the ladies is that they meet their mentor’s exacting standards. Unlike competition shows such as “American Idol” and “The Voice,” Rowland says “Chasing Destiny” will not have a judges’ table. Instead, she wants to fully document the creation of a group.
