One thing that is for certain, COVID-19 has undoubtedly changed the way we celebrate the holidays. Thanksgiving season is different this year with many families not being able to get together. Celebrities have been helping those families in need by providing groceries, meals, and more!

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, celebrities such as Tyler Perry, French Montana, CeeLo Green, Tracy Morgan, and Kodak Black are getting out into their communities to give back.

Tyler Perry’s Tyler Studios hosted an event over the weekend called “#TPSGiving,” which provided groceries and gift cards to over 5,000 families in need.

“We are excited to announce the #TPSGiving Food Giveaway event on Sunday, November 22nd, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. During this drive-up event we will be distributing non-perishable food items and gift cards to people who are in need during this holiday season. See you there!” said Tyler Perry Studios in a Tweet.

In the spirit of the Thanksgiving season, Tracy Morgan, French Montana, CeeLo Green, and Kodak Black all passed out turkeys to families.

Actor Tracy Morgan volunteered at the Food Bank in New York and passed out 1,200 turkeys for families at the Mott Haven Community Center located in the Bronx.

Rapper French Montana also handed out turkeys with City Harvest in New York City, according to TMZ.

In Atlanta, singer CeeLo Green surprised many families with turkeys at the Nouveau Bar & Grill’s Inaugural Turkey Drive.

Not only were families able to pick up a turkey, but they were also provided a COVID-19 survival kit, which contained a mask, gloves, and sanitizer.

Earlier in the month rapper, Kodak Black also held a turkey drive-up in Pompano Beach, Florida.
