AFTERBUZZ TV – AfterBuzz TV’s Spotlight On edition, is a long form interview series featuring actors and TV personalities discussing their roles and shows as well as their thoughts, passions and journeys. In this episode hosts Tony Moore & James Lott Jr. interviews Casey Deidrick.
Casey Deidrick is currently (2015) starring opposite Victoria Justice in MTV’s drama-thriller series, Eye Candy. In the series, based on R.L. Stine’s novel of the same name and developed by Catherine Hardwicke, Deidrick plays Tommy, an NYPD Cyber Unit detective investigating a serial killer alongside Justice’s character.
A native of Hollister, California, Deidrick moved to Highland Ranch, Colorado at the age of 15 to live with his mother and finish out his high school years. In 2006, Deidrick moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in show business. Prior to joining Eye Candy, Deidrick appeared in a diverse range of roles on television series Glee, Revolution, Body of Proof, 90210 and Days of Our Lives.
In addition to his acting work, Deidrick writes and performs vocals for the California-based metal band And Still I Rise. The group recently released a video for its song “65 Roses,” directed by Robby Starbuck, which raised money and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis in honor of Wife, a band member who is living with the disease. The group is currently writing and recording new material.
Prior to entering the entertainment world, Deidrick was a competitive skateboarder, sponsored by VANS shoes and AiRO skateboards.
Deidrick currently divides his time between Brooklyn, NY and Los Angeles, California.
